It all started to come back to me about setting down base colours on which to build - I just couldn't remember what they were😀 I will have another go and if it works I'll let you know. I made a brave attempt but I think I have overworked the picture and just could not face starting it all over again I'd send you a picture but I don't know how to on UA-cam!

So very interesting…Thank you both so very much! . I too am a huge fan of Pastelmat also Colour Shapers, both invaluable tools for Pastel Artists . I still find quality problems with Pastelmat though….very frustrating when you need extra layers later on in a painting and it fails to adhere!!!! Grrrr!!!!
