- Wanting to check out the Benidorm old town we started at the far end only for it to start with a heavenly moment as we visited dove fountain. If you visit you MUST go there! Then it's a crazy day around the busy streets with lots to see and do. This is part one of our day. Be sure to return in a couple of hours for part 2!

Fabulous video, glad you are enjoying Benidorm. There is something for everyone. Dan, when you took the wrong turning you were outside the Zodiac bar which is a well known Tapas bar in Benidorm. Did you see the pet shop as it was at the bottom of the steps you walked down? You will be going on the number 10 bus tomorrow. That bus would also take you to Albir and Altea, love the promenade walk and the walk to the church in Altea. Anyway carry on enjoying.
I'm loving these Benidorm vlogs the Dove fountain was just amazing seeing all those Doves all over you both. Seeing you meeting up with John was a surprise then again he goes seem to follow your channel and is never far away lol. Brilliant.
Benidorm is probably my favourite spot in Spain that you've been so far. The shops, beaches, old town, just the feel of it is awesome! The best bit was your face Dan when the birds landing on you. Haha! I was in stitches! So much fun for you and Mazzy!

Lots of the Spanish people seem to know by looking at you, that your language is English. I’ve had the same experience in Spain and Portugal. It’s great seeing how you are enjoying yourselves. My one and only time abroad, was Benidorm. I was there in the July 2000. Terra Mitica theme park was still getting built. I do not recognise any of it now, it looks like they have invested alot of money to attract tourists. It was too built up and busy for me, and having a 17 year old daughter then, her Dad and I were on alert constantly! Spanish lads are very forward.....too stressful lol.

Glad you went to Dove Park we knew you would like it there as you love to feed the birds, its quiet an experience the first time when they flock all over you, I dont mind them on my shoulders and arms, their claws are like razor blades on my bald head. You went past our favourite bakers/cafe Granier, their cakes are delicious, they have 3 shops here, looking at the vlog looks like you missed Tapas Alley in Old Town, so much to see cant do it all, save some for next time.

The Dove Fountain end of Beniorm is Ponettia Beach where the Spanish people holiday. The other side with the bars is Levante Beach where the British are

Dan & Mazzy, you could have got on a bus outside El Raco to take you right to the old town. I'm sure it's only one or two euros. Then you could have walked back to the caravan site. Or get the bus back. That way you would miss all the shops Dan.

Spain celebrate Christmas on the 6th January it’s called Epiphany.. the Spanish are split in religions, catholic and Hinduism being the main ones , it’s also not like other European countries with big markets etc..
Just back from a week in the old town after a wonderful break, you should go see the show at the benidorm Palace or there is a circus shame we had to come home but will be back in March enjoy it
