This fight was such a piss take to beat. I was about to quit even finishing the game when I remembered a line from Kuze in Yakuza 0 "The man who gets beat down isn't the loser. The guy who can't tough it out to the end, he's the one who loses." Which encouraged me to actually finish the damn battle even though it was genuinely bullshit with his two stupid colonels and the animation after being shot. Thanks Kuze no aniki for being a great character and inspiration.
I just rage-quite the game for few days after that shithead bombed me with grenades for dozen of times, and you can't even put him down before you beat colonels because his helth stucks at 1 hp and can't go to zero, no matter how many heat actions you pull off. It was much easier when i came back to this game, found bullet-proof charm, found the blade-protecting gloves, the full inventory of staminian royal and just tiger-dropped trough everything in this last part of the game. It was really, really disappointing after Yakuza 0.

I feel like Jingu is the only Yakuza main villain who is completely evil. Many of the bad guys in the series either have a tragic back story or a legitimate reason for what they're doing (save for Tanimura's boss in Y4), whereas Jingu is just "Yeah, he was a nice dude once, but then he became a politician."

If you take the guns of those first M.I.A. goons you fight near the water feature, you can shoot Jingu before the fight starts. His health regenerates before the fight, but shooting Jingu is shooting Jingu.

Got to this point with almost no upgrades in the Dragon of Dojima style, saw how hard this boss was, wondered htf I should beat him. I watched this video, saw the insanely overpowered counter move, and spent about 20+ hours going back and upgrading my moveset completely. Came back to it just now and beat him no problem incredibly quickly all thanks to this video.
And bad shit could've possibly happened to Haruka in the near future if he stayed, so there's that Not that she might already suffer from being kidnapped in future games I guess

Holy shit this was great to watch, not only did you take out Jingu's body guards quickly the first time with the well timed Tiger Drops but you were able to completely stay out of that double combo barrage they would do. Seriously this was a great recording of Jingu's fight!
Me and my friend laughed so hard when we saw the MIA Colonel's finger twitch, and they both just suddenly get back up after I heat-action spammed them to death with every single weapon I've got. And then I wanted to cry.
I disagree, Shibusawa was the most epic fight in the serie. The build-up through the entire game, the music, the double dragons and the ending was legendary. Jingu just pop-up in the last chapters as some kind of generic evil master mind and that's it
I'd also put the yakuza 5 100 men fight, Tanimura final boss, any amon specially Shinada Amon fight in 5 and any Jiro, and ofc Ishin still gets the cherry on top
For some strange reason, getting jumped by the people in the gambling place was the hardest, probably because I forgot to save or get healing items. I just got to say though, the quick timing event that the two MIA Colonels do is probably the most awesome thing ever, it's annoying to avoid but so cool.
I recently finished the game, and i say: seriously, fuck jingu Spoilers: He stole kiryu's girl, and killed her too, threatend to kill haruka, had sera assassinated, incited nishki, and to top it all off, HAS ONE OF THE CHEAPEST BOSS BATTLE IN VIDEO GAME HISTORY.
This boss fight was really frustrating, but it also felt really hype. Seeing the two colonels twitch before slowly coming back was way more exciting than I expected. Also just seeing Kiryu beat the crap out of a bunch of military guys with guns and knives with only his fists lol

I wish Kiryu was the 4th Chairman way longer because anytime I hear people say it, it sounds like he served for a long ass time and was their best chairman. It held no real weight in my opinion and they could have put a better title for his intros in later games. It also would have meant more and carried more weight to the story since he wanted to protect what Kazama and Sera handed down to him.
When I heard about this guy in Kiwami, I was like, "Ok then. How will he handle a Kiryu that was all of his skills and got his Dragon Of Dojima style back?" So I got Kiryu at 100% also got dragon of dojima at 100%. This guy was a rag doll
It is quite bullshit but the devs made the game harder than 0 for a reason, as I think it was supposed to be how Kiryu literally a monster in 0 because it's the power of youth (just a hypothesis). But then after 10 years in the joint it made him very rusty and of course everyone around him would be much much stronger than him
Is that Kiryu guy the main character you play as? I have never played a yakuza game and was thinking of picking it up. His voice just makes it an even better deal lol.
There's only ONE aspect of this fight I like: Jingu is an absolute joke when his backup is all gone. All this time he's had others bailing him out, rarely did anything for himself, and was a cocky coward. Having two highly trained specialists fight for him while he laughs and shoots you in the back all safe and sound. But when the bodyguards are down, he panics. He has no fighting skill, no special move, and a useless gun since he can't use it due to being wailed on. Really shows how much Jingu relied on others, because when cornered he shows who he really is: a cowardly weakling
Tip: I guess the best strategy for an average Yakuza player on this fight is max on Rush Style + Pummeling bat (you get when reach ss on Majima) That turned the fight to easier
I just got through my first defeat at this boss and I was the closest I ever got to throwing my control when I realized I had to go all the way past those damned yellow seargents all the way back to this 3 gun gernade spamming pos.
Honestly, this fight somehow wasn't that bad for me. Jingu's minions ended up resurrecting the second I beat them down, as I went for Jingu, and after beating them down again, I ended up blowing through Jingu's entire health bar without them getting back up. Tiger Drop all the way, but the guards with guns beforehand were more irritating.

i really didnt out much thought into this one. beat it by a thread on first try. of course, i was loaded with 20 full shottys.
These fights become the most fun and challenging battles if you unlock the entire upgrade wheels, including Dragon of dojima

I challenged myself and eventually beat the game without the Tiger Drop
@@meh5308 That was how I played the boss at first, not even knowing about the Tiger Drop spam tactic. At that point I didn't even have the Komaki Firearm Flip! You can imagine how enjoyable that mess was...
As a player that rage quiting for god knows how much, i respect the soldier more than Jingu because he's coward.

I wish Kiryu was the 4th Chairman way longer because anytime I hear people say it, it sounds like he served for a long ass time and was their best chairman. It held no real weight in my opinion and they could have put a better title for his intros in later games. It also would have meant more and carried more weight to the story since he wanted to protect what Kazama and Sera handed down to him.
I was so glad that I did those random victim encounters because I don’t think I could’ve done this boss without the stun guns I had

It is quite bullshit but the devs made the game harder than 0 for a reason, as I think it was supposed to be how Kiryu literally a monster in 0 because it's the power of youth (just a hypothesis). But then after 10 years in the joint it made him very rusty and of course everyone around him would be much much stronger than him

Is that Kiryu guy the main character you play as? I have never played a yakuza game and was thinking of picking it up. His voice just makes it an even better deal lol.
Indeed, he is the main character you play as in most games.
And in the ones with multiple main characters, he's basically a living legend and is the main MAIN character

Fighting Jingu and his colonels is the absolute worst if you don't upgrade dragon of dojima style like me
There's only ONE aspect of this fight I like: Jingu is an absolute joke when his backup is all gone. All this time he's had others bailing him out, rarely did anything for himself, and was a cocky coward. Having two highly trained specialists fight for him while he laughs and shoots you in the back all safe and sound. But when the bodyguards are down, he panics. He has no fighting skill, no special move, and a useless gun since he can't use it due to being wailed on. Really shows how much Jingu relied on others, because when cornered he shows who he really is: a cowardly weakling
Tip: I guess the best strategy for an average Yakuza player on this fight is max on Rush Style + Pummeling bat (you get when reach ss on Majima)
That turned the fight to easier
Use the bat with infinite durability. It helped me through the whole last chapter.
I just got through my first defeat at this boss and I was the closest I ever got to throwing my control when I realized I had to go all the way past those damned yellow seargents all the way back to this 3 gun gernade spamming pos.

Honestly, this fight somehow wasn't that bad for me. Jingu's minions ended up resurrecting the second I beat them down, as I went for Jingu, and after beating them down again, I ended up blowing through Jingu's entire health bar without them getting back up. Tiger Drop all the way, but the guards with guns beforehand were more irritating.
