@@pose4864 unfortunately I had to post pone the build entirely. I stopped dead in my tracks because I was involved in 2 accidents in a year. I’m doing recovery now. I’ll be back with a huge story on what’s happened and what’s to come.

@@pose4864 well unfortunately I have been stuck in the beginning for awhile now. But I got a whole video coming soon as to why I haven’t been posting.but so far all I have done was add come car on fiber accents to the interior like the dash cluster, and the trim pieces. Also threw on some red seat covers. Just simple thinks to get the idea of what I want to fully do. (I’ll get real leather and custom carbon pieces made)
First thing you do on old W211 is replace 2/3 of the suspension parts, and that costs a lot in parts and time in labour. And it is if you are lucky to have a trouble free motor and electrics.
You should either do it as hobby at your own pace or professionally every day. Otherwise it may drive you out.

This is a very gross over simplification, all these things cost a ton more than he says when it comes to doin it right, duraflex requires high skill painting, lower this car requires extra suspension peices in order to negate the camber caused by the coilovers and buying one is not as cheap as 1.7k. Not to mention labor for all this and general maintenance beung high. Definitely a great car though
I bought my 03 E500 for $1,700. Had to put about $2k into suspension work right away, but they can be had that cheap and with a V8 no less!

I agree but the E500 is the most reliable since it has the M113
i own a 09 e350 as u can see in my pfp, definitely wouldn’t slam this kinda car it wouldn’t look right 😂 reccomend a renntech tune, no need for aftermarket cold air intake it wouldn’t add much, low profile race tires, and black that mf out!! all i got left to do is powdercoat the rims and my build is complete 😎
I sure agree I have a 07 E350 true that they are reliable however, i wouldn’t slam my vehicle either it just wouldn’t drive as good around the corners I don’t think. stock it’s amazing. I definitely agree with you. I would totally flashed tune my car. Maby the next upgrade 😁

I have one pretty reliable with 210k miles. Engine sounds smooth you just gotta keep up with maintenance
W211 is plenty reliable (at least the drivetrain is lol)

The OP already suggested swapping to coil suspension which alleviates that issue.
