Thanks for the vid! Sorry I have another question regarding the Indoor Survival 😄 do you think the agent pro can hold up regarding pop to the indoor survival?
Updated review coming...just soo damn behind...Not a bad boot and it fit my E width pretty well. Mid level response and more of a thinner but medium/stiff sole so you can get a little more board feel. Really depends on what appeals to you and what kind of foot you have.
Hey man, I’m looking for a twin board that can go fast and carve pretty well, launch off side hits, and not be too bad at buttering. Do you think the agent pro or the free thinker are better for that? Or any other suggestions? I’ve been going back and forth for days.
It depends on your specs but the Gent Pro is great for what you want to do. So is the Lib Tech Box Knife, Yes Greats and Ride Twin Pig. Hit me here if you want to get into it shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/.
Have last years agent in a 151 which im a bit heavy for, just over weight range. Would the agent pro 154 be much different stability wise? The 151 agent gets wobbly at speed and i find it quite soft.
Yeah size up as long as it's not too wide for your boot size and to a lesser extent, works for your height. It will be a little more stable but you might want to consider another board if speed is important. Hit me here if you want in depth advice. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/
Cool cheers. Stability between the agent pro and indoor survival, what's better ? Just find the regular agent gets bucked when the run in on jumps are sketchy and you need some decent speed. Mainly in spring
We are skipping lots of steps in getting you proper advice. Indoor suvival bucks a lot in wet spring uneven snow. So does the Agent Pro but I like that a little better there.
Hey brotha i’m a competent beginner rider looking for an all mountain board that i can get better with and just have for a long time. I’ve looked over the Rossignol Ressurgence 2024, Gnu money, Salomon assassin, and maybe even an arbor board… Anything you could suggest me? I’m 5’4 150 lbs i’ve ridden a 152 and 154 before
Happy to help but don't know enough info to help you properly. I'd just be guessing with the info I have. I'd pass on the Assassin. Too Technical. Money and Resurgence could work but not sure. Resurgence doesn't have great pop so you might get bored of it. At the very least I need your boot size but you would be much better off if you hit me up here and filled out your me-harmony profile to get legit advice. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/
Both are pretty poppy rides that aren't amazing in uneven snow. Both flex more in different places so it comes down to how you ride. If you want a board stiffer in the tip/tail but softer between the feet go Agent Pro. If you want stiffer between the feet but softer in the tip/tail go IS. If you see a lot of soft uneven snow the Agent Pro is less bucky but neither are good. If you want to get into it more hit me here to give me the info I need to help you much better. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/
That is tough. I think this is better on an ollie and carve but the Greats is better in harder snow and for powder. I also like the feel turning with the Asym sidecuts of the Greats.
For me yes. Takes less effort to ollie, is more forgiving and much more fun to butter. If you want to carve more and play around with super narrow stance width's go Rene-Gade.
When I carve on the regular agent, it feels really unstable at high speeds. Does the pro carve better, more stable at higher speeds than agent regular?
A little better but like I said in the review these are better slow to medium speed carvers. I would look to another board for higher speed carving. Hit me up here if you want to get into it more. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/

Yes. Very similar pop but more from the tip/tail where the pop from the IS comes near the end of the camber before the tip/tail.
Any quick thoughts on the Rome Bodega boot? I was actually looking at that boot, but it seems the last time you reviewed Rome boots was a while ago.
