First time my dad saw Reid when he watched criminal minds with me the first time he said, "That guy is so damn skinny and look at that giant gun at his side" thought that was hilarious! :)
Having long hair doesn't necessarily equal lack of personal hygiene, low energy or lower socioeconomic status. Someone may simply prefer having long hair. It doesn't make them look less intelligent.
I don't really see that here to be honest. There are 2 women here, having banter with an awkward guy that JJ has known for literal years. It's nothing to do with sex, it's just how the group kind of works. Hotch - Uptight leader, bit bossy but we get over it because he cracks a smile every 22 or so episodes to tick a box. Garcia - computer fanatic, flirtatious friendship with Morgan, likes her cute/fun stationary and is a funny character. Morgan - conventionally attractive, flirtatious friendship with Garcia, is quite selfless aswell as brave. JJ - I'm going to be honest, I can't list one actually interesting thing I found about JJ, she really bored me and I don't think she even us known for anything minus having a cute kid that appears like 2 times, again, it's fine because she's cool. Gideon - We just kinda like him, depending on who you ask he was either a great mentor to Reid and a genius or a backstabbing heartless bastard, so, again, ask a few people. Reid - Complete genius written by a bunch of morons, he's socially awkward and fidgets a lot. Very much the Hollywood depictions of autism bit he's incredibly adorable, and loveable and for some reason is more well liked than Morgan. The team spend a lot of time sharing a lot of banter with him about him being the younger and clumsy one, but they all love him. Also, the directors were absolutely ruthless when about ½ of the angst on this show was just him being constantly traumatised. Yeah, they done a lot with his character. Strauss - kinda like umbridge, but in criminal Minds. She isn't a big fan of hotch as shown throughout the entire show and is incredibly uptight. She rules with an iron fist meanwhile displaying no knowledge or level of skill in her work. Kind if person that if you shown a balloon dog, she'd pop it.
in this episode i almost disliked this purple woman more than the actual unSub... she critizises them the whole time without ever doing anything useful herself -.-'
I am looking at this with such different eyes now that I know JJ (and Spencer) love each other. The way she looks at him while he's talking, how he hides his pain in front of her.
I love him with both but really love him with short hair :D , I've noticed that too Reid's hair gets debated over so much lol it's a massive topic of discussion though I have noticed it changes every season :P
I was very angry at the team in this episode for not catching the arsonist and shooting him!! He was a sick, twisted, sadistic individual!! Especially the scene where the unsub throws a Molotov Cocktail bottle at some random pedestrian, and then got aroused as he was watching him burn. Vincent Stiles is probably the scariest, most darkest Unsub in the History of Criminal Minds!!
“He sees the victims as successful versions of himself and he resents them for it” That’s called Jealousy, and then it leads to Wrath. All of the 7 deadly sins are connected, exploit one and you will find yourself exploiting them all.
@PowerpuffButtercup1 Yeah, I always thought that his gun really stood out. One pedestrian said he just asking to get shot because of how he wears his gun rofl
"Most arsonists are white males" "look for a white guy" Isn't that racial profiling? Something considered discriminatory? Or is it just that it's okay to discriminate against Whites
Assuming that a white male is an arsonist - based only on their sex and race - would be racial profiling. But if they're looking for an arsonist, and they know that those are generally white males, they are going to look at white male suspects first. It's not discriminatory to follow a trend.
Well, it's not discriminating. They're sticking with what is more than likely. For example, If I told you to look for something sweet, wod you bring me back a kiwi in the hopes I didn't find it sour, or take the safer option and just hiring me back a chocolate or something? Racial profiling is different and requires blanket statements. They looked at the victimology, where the crime took place, the fact that about 80% of arsonists are white males and didn't waste their time looking elsewhere. It's not a racism thing, it's just getting their job done efficiently, they have this exact argument mentioned in the show and funnily enough, you not liking it isn't a good reason to try and shout out racism.
"We need to figure this out!" *gets spoon fed the information on what the connection is* *exaggerated eye roll* "Well i GUUUUEEESSSSS il do my job now too." *snarky look cause the white guy solved it*
I'm not sure why, but I think he looks more intelligent with short hair. Perhaps because I associate long hair with a lack of personal hygiene, low energy and a lower socioeconomic status? I realize it's prejudice but I can't help to feel that way when seeing Reid with long hair :/
I just love how he acts when he gets his coffee.

I love how excited he is about an expresso machine! Lol
Ikr he was acting all calm about it but in his head (OMG ESPRESSO MACHINE!!!! MY COFFEE IS HERE!!!!)
+CuteCatsAJ I am just worried if they have enough sugar to cover for all his espresso needs.
Imagine a serial killer who has fixation on Reid and they target all the police force/ officers who are mean to Spencer... 😈
Should I be worried?
I think you just described part of the fandom if they were teleported into the show
If only cat adams lived lmao
That’s the fandom

Varathael Are you secretly Spencer?
Varathael no duh
You're right. I hate how people associate long hair with stupidity.
... Was this in response to something
One name, Albert Einstein .
REID my favorite criminal mind character since the beginning of Criminal Minds and still is today. Love him
I love JJ at the end, giving Reid the 👌 with that adorable little smile, as if to say, "That's my boy Reid!"
"I'll issue an APB for a resentful, 6ft white guy" hahaa
“This place is great they have their own espresso machine.”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
JJ always looks so proud of Reid
And JJ's like " thank my boy"
Imagine two male professionals being so disdainful of an awkward female colleague...you'd think you were in the 1950s.
yeah now the script is flipped - welcome to 21st century
@A Ng this series is set in the 22nd century actually

SFPD Detective, don't knock it. Instead of a whole city you now have something to whitle down
i cant beleive that lady doubted his geniousness!
i love how he's still mad at his coffe burn at the end i thought that was so cutte

This is one of my favourite episodes!!
Reid with coffee is my spirit animal
"This place is great! They have their own espresso machine" lol
I just love Spencer
I know it's a prejudice and it doesn't make sense rationally, it's just a feeling I have when I compare long hair Reid to short hair Reid.
Lol JJ.
Laugh if you must, but Dr. Reid WILL have the final say!
baby Spencer 🥺
XD He can't get over that expresso machine at first!

George Foyet would give Stiles a run for his money in the scariest unsub department.
Spencer is so funny i love him!
He's just so cute.
aw it looks lovely in season 8 though :P
