I’ve been trying to find more info from friends and acquaintances since. Then recently came across the article in AW. When the tomb was uncovered they found mass remains of horses and soldiers spread across the top. Inside were what they think were Khan’s wives, servants etc., as well as the remains of a man fitting his description (age, build, etc.). They’ve pretty much nailed it. Of course the article goes into more detail, but that’s the basics.

This narrative seems to have obvious inaccuracies. When the mongols well after the death of Genghis Khan attempted to invade Japan, storms wrecked their fleet and it was not all that difficult for the Japanese to kill the few survivors that made it to shore. The mongols also had problems when they invaded vietnam. They also were beaten elsewhere. The mysticism express over other things tells me someone is making things up. I will go search for a more reputable source for information.
It was the second invasion that was hit with the storm. The first one was the Mongols retreated after losing a third of thier forces. They took a couple small islands, one had like 80 samurai and the other less. Then they pushed inland a little ways and stopped near the first (I think it was a castle) that some defenders of a beach had retreated to. Then they left after losing a commander. It was a full on assault complete with all the catapults and bombs, everything. They supposedly outnumbered the Japanese they encountered by at least 6 to 1 and still burned everything as they left. Then they sent an envoy the next year who was beheaded and a few years after that was the whole storm thing.

Rogan has no idea… Japanese prayed in fear the mongols would go away and only because the typhoon sunk their ships Japan wasn’t taken over. Also, the were Korean subjects on the ships to Japan.
As a Mongolian, the idea of foreigners trying to find the tomb of the Great Khan is creating mixed feelings.
Communist Lao and China did the same to my people. Dug up old grave tombs took and destroyed documents and artifacts of my people. They don't want the world to know our history. The Hmongs

Mounds of skulls were found wherever the army went, right into the 20th century. My daughter was born with that blue birthmark from here dad’s side. Families moved across Asia, and Chinese name tablets going right back in time have Mongolian script.
What does a blue birthmark have to do with anything?
Hello Alexandra’s,
That is the Legend, the Blue Spot, I was born with the Blue Spot, commonly found, actually ubiquitous in Eastern Asia, it’s linked to the story of his birth and his father having to lift him up by the feet and smack him around the midriff , buttocks, to get the baby Genghis breathing, thus leaving Genghis with this blue spot birthmark. My DNA genealogy shows I have Mongolian and Yakutia ancestry plus Chinese.
My son, daughter, and I share a birthmark. They're two different shapes. My son's is on his leg, and the same shape and size. Daughters on is on her lower back, same as mine.
I think it's a way to recognize each other in this lifetime.

Kinda makes me remember the mark of Cain...

Some think they found tomb of Cleopatra's sister Arsinoe but can't be sure it was her.
Cleo had her young sister killed at the sanctuary at Delphi where she was supposed to be protected
One thing is obvious. He was a monster with an unimaginable blood lust.
Thank you

Anything is better than the libtard narrative.
He was a White man
Only irritating part is, the tomb has NOT been found. Why not just say that. We're not fooled.
They didn't find his tomb. They did find one of his sons' tomb though.
Pretty sure they're all buried in a family toomb
@@mathewchandler2565 Nope. That would have to be a HUGE tomb. He had over 500 wives.😆 Just kidding, I know what you meant. He had I belive 4 "official" sons, and five daughters with his number 1 wife. I believe the tomb that they finally excavated, belonged to his second oldest son and HIS family. Their fathers tomb will NEVER be found...
@@youtubernaz1scensoredbythe201 It's a man made mountain in Mongolia, can't be excavated, it is in a protected area, only the Kahn's that followed him are there, the mountain actually has shrines and symbols on it maintained by monks
With all the effort to keep this tomb a secret, those Khans on the other side will not be happy, ensuring certain consequences....😱
The Mongols are known for their ferocity and cruelty in war but that's what every nascent empire does.
The Khan should be remembered for the many innovations he enabled throughout his empire and beyond.
I for one say let the great man rest in peace but it's of little consequence as the Khans' tomb will never be revealed, the Steppe will keep him safe for eternity.
Kubla Khan was one that sent invaders to Japan not Genghis Khan. Read some history books already.
@@hydrolito I said well after the death of Genghis Khan. I read history books already. You should read first prior commenting
Aint history grand😂
If you're watching Joe Rogan looking for factual information, you're in the wrong place
This has nothing to do with Joe Rogan reacting to tomb. Just short documentary of discovery of tomb w/ random clips of Joe Rogan talking about some of the most wild Genghis Khan stories. Honestly not complaining
time wasting
I didn't want to watch the video, so I Googled.. No, they did not find his burial spot,Tombstone, or his body

At what point should I expect to be dug up after I get buried.

If you study the Mahabharata, ancient Hindu text, there’s so much what we would consider “alien” technology like nuclear weapons etc. and Gods interbreeding with humans. Giving them incredible abilities far beyond most men. These ideas maybe can’t be proven, however it is far more comforting to know that we live in a mysterious universe and that the common narrative is not complete. There’s so much more to be discovered. Which prompts the question “ who am I?”
His grave has never been found. Amid the many legends surrounding his demise lies just one solid clue: a Forbidden Zone, established after his death. Now a UNESCO site, the area is still pristine, and still jealously guards the secret of the Great Khan's final resting place.
Objection, the Mongolian blue spot can be traced back to Atilla and the Huns, there are populations in Europe presenting the mutation, in places like Switzerland , that can be traced back to the Hunic invasion of Europe.
Hey Joe, I bet the mighty Genghis Khan had control of all the airports!

Rong, the reason they couldn't take Japan was because of random storms that destroyed the Mongols' ship. The Japanese were just pure lucky.

The one thing very secret is none of our Mongol Kings burial ever found. Because they knew they have to hide it very very well. There were still many people from every stage of the history did dig King and queens burials. They didn’t want that to our Kings.
Also we Mongols only know that there is sacred mountains mostly connected with name Burkhan , means God, but actually the word Burkhan in Mongolian means originally grand dads or ancestors, also it is originated from the word Burkhas which is very common tree grows by the riverside mostly. Ancient Mongols believed our ancestors spirit turns into Burkhas tree. Breaking Burkhas tree used to bad crime, punished by beaten. About Munkhu Khaan was growing Burkhas tree had written catholic monk Plano Karpini.
