M. Buffalo's Role in Street Fighter is Similar to Tekken's Heihachi, Fatal Fury's Geese, or MK's Shao Kahn, a Villian who's a Recurring Character even when He's not a Final Boss.
Heihachi is gone from Tekken one game after his official death and Geese is only in KoF as that's not the same timeline, he's only a secret character unlocked in Fatal Fury. Street Fighter could do that with Bison, but they keep wanting to stick him in while nerfing any other supposed final boss. The new characters seem weak as entries, only Juri has stuck, which is pretty bad for a fighting game to have as an issue.
I’m gonna laugh if the names were the Japanese ones. That means it could be M Bison (JP) = Balrog (US) and Vega (JP) = M Bison (US). I think people would be happier about that.

Nah, not in April, they wouldn't want to overshadow Akuma's release by giving the FGC 6 or 4 more names to look forward to before Akuma because let's be real, he's the main attraction to season one's season pass other than Rashid (and even that is debatable) So I think we're waiting until late May or early June for a season 2 drop.

Jamie is just another dull character in a sea of mediocrity sure i also like jamie but he's just stealing roles like luke & the new characters are doing. Sean and Sakura, on the other hand, bring fresh perspectives and unique fighting styles to the game. Sean is a breath of fresh air with his half Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu-inspired moves. He combines ground-based grappling techniques with explosive strikes, making him both versatile and exciting to watch. His gameplay mechanics offer a whole new layer of strategy, forcing players to adapt and think on their feet, bringing him back s a hybrid of ryu/ken mixed with laura along with giving his hadoken basket ball movements for unpredictable play, could actually make him a good c-a tier And let's not forget about Sakura! She may initially appear as a Ryu clone, but she quickly establishes her own identity with a more agile and acrobatic fighting style. Her moveset incorporates elements of her old schoolgirl personality, adding a touch of charm to her fierce attacks, maybe making her a mother or um streamer/ cosplayer in universe could lighten up her style, i would love to see sean & sakura becoming rivals like their "masters" On the other hand, Jamie is just another generic himself clone. We already have enough of those in the game. There's nothing particularly interesting or groundbreaking about his fighting style. He's just a carbon copy of a character we've seen countless times before. So, I'm sorry, but your argument falls flat. His starting weak, and unlocking more abilities with drinks is pretty unique for as far as i know, the only other i can come up with is Hakan who needed to oil himself up to unlock his potential, but even that is diffrent. We already have Ryu, Ken, and now Akuma is coming back. The roster is still not big big, we only have 2 boxers for example. Sean i could maybe see as an interesting addition, but sakura would only be there for the fans of her personality imo.

I honestly cannot believe these "leaks" have gotten this much traction. This is nothing like the full roster, concept art leak that was obviously credible. Not saying it’s impossible, but Sakura, Dictator, and Vega, along with an all new fighter, are pretty safe bets to begin with and the source has essentially said "trust me bro". I think the community is just bored since we’ve seen Akuma now and he’s the end of the first year of content.

Estimating interest and monetary value for potential new characters is difficult without concrete data on pre-orders and sales. However, fan excitement online does not necessarily correlate with commercial success. Many perspectives could reasonably gauge community interest and financial prospects, plus oni could be akuma's sa2 or ca3 animation.

It's mainly Japan to blame for making every Brazilian look African Americans in their games and anime for some bizarre reason. They will have their own personalities, but they will also have their similarities (but admittedly it's a game that will use tropes and archetypes heavily). I'm afraid if he does come back, he'd just be a joke character as always if Laura is the more serious one. 2) I wasn't being that serious lol! I'm fairly certain he was a random character thrown into the roster that will never come back. 3) Legacy characters are taken seriously in Japan and why you never see them replaced. They become the franchise, not just characters. Capcom wants to appeal to the West and has been trying for over a decade, so they are trying to find ways to slowly do so without enraging their fanbases. They were willing to do this with all their IP with one point, or they just discontinued a series. Nero was meant to replace Dante and since SF III they've wanted to replace the legacy cast. By aging them up it's a perfect excuse. But consider this: Never was a character cast limited in the past when adding characters. They came in all ages and shapes. Now all of a sudden they have to fit the age demographic to appeal. No fighting game series can replace legacy characters and make a younger reskin using the same moves. Soul Calibur tried this and suffered for it. This is partially why I think a timeline in fighting games shouldn't make big leaps in time for longevity or they risk running into the issue of aging out their roster for believability, believability that compromises a huge aspect of the game. You'd need to create a new franchise, which Capcom won't do. They have a hard time making new characters stick, only female characters seem to based on sex appeal mainly. They never gave enough time to certain characters to grow in the new gen, so they dispose and throw in more variants or unappealing fighting style. 4) I'm being facetious about Capcom's greed. You definitely lack a sense of humor. No matter what I'll never agree with paying for access to an expansion on a fighting game when I grew up unlocking them. I'm no fool and wont' be milked by FOMO. This isn't the same company that did great things, it has been one willing to make bad decisions to reach monetary gain. Going after modders, ruining Dragon's Dogma 2 and axing many IP because they can't make gross amounts of money from the genre. The only reason Street Fighter exists is because they can extract more money from it from consumers.
I miss having hidden characters you could unlock, even as enemy only fights. If they wish to reintroduce M. Bison they could do either/or both a Bison possessed Cammy or Ed that you have to fight. Also I'm similarly not the biggest fan of Luke as the main face and think your idea of having Sakura and Sean be the face of the new generation is more on the money.

So that means Gill is over a century old. And the lore gets deep when Karin, Gill’s secretary recruited Rashid in Street Fighter V.
I really hope this leak is Fake! SF6 is after the events of SF3 and there are no SF3 characters in the roster yet! SF6 needs alot of SF3 characters, otherwise this won't make any sense. Ehhhhhhh. I am hoping for more original characters. It's nice to see classic characters return, but I feel it's relying too much on them. I hope to see characters from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, or other similar countries.
Yeah. I’m also extremely annoyed that most of the returning characters are from Street Fighter II. We already have a cool new villain and the OG world warriors are pretty much the only returning characters in the base game. I also would like more characters that did not appear in Street Fighter V like Elena.
Damn I hope this is true. The brawler/grappler type was always my favorite but I kind of made my peace that Alex and R. Mika wouldn’t show up. Honestly I’m just excited for any returning characters since the redesigns have been soo good.
I'm happy M Bison is coming back, it doesn't feel like a complete Street fighter game without people like him. Also I really hate the stupid trend of fighting games excluding characters just because they aren't in the current game's story or lore, who cares??? When I'm playing VS or online mode I just wanna fight other players with cool characters that exist in the series, not think about the lore accuracy unless I'm playing the story mode!

Bison doesn't even really need an explanation to return, or at least not one that fits current canon. Oni doesn't even exist outside of Akuma's potential and Kage is a part of Ryu's psyche, what-ifs characters are nothing new for Street Fighter, and if Bison is to return it could simply just be a case of "what if bison actually survived his fight with ryu?"

Shadaloo Legacy characters should be left out completely in SF6. Their story had a very fulfilling conclusion, most members of old Shadaloo grew out of the organization and are now doing their own thing (Vega even somewhat got something of a redemption arc where he became more sane at the end of the story mode and his arcade ending). I would prefer to keep M. Bison and Vega, along with Balrog away from SF6 and at most, tease them and Shadaloo for a return in SF7. Instead they should add new *Neo-Shadaloo* members to the roster and expand their lore. And as for R. Mika, i feel like a role that would be great for her is as a mixed Tag Champion with Alex. Alex is honestly way too barebones and lacks any true personality while Mika feels too much like a Zangief copycat now mainly focusing only muscles and wrestling. Them together would help Alex het some actual personality while with Mika, Alex‘s presence would ground her some more and make her more than just a Zangief fan

M. Buffalo's Role in Street Fighter is Similar to Tekken's Heihachi, Fatal Fury's Geese, or MK's Shao Kahn, a Villian who's a Recurring Character even when He's not a Final Boss.
Heihachi is gone from Tekken one game after his official death and Geese is only in KoF as that's not the same timeline, he's only a secret character unlocked in Fatal Fury. Street Fighter could do that with Bison, but they keep wanting to stick him in while nerfing any other supposed final boss. The new characters seem weak as entries, only Juri has stuck, which is pretty bad for a fighting game to have as an issue.

Jamie is just another dull character in a sea of mediocrity sure i also like jamie but he's just stealing roles like luke & the new characters are doing. Sean and Sakura, on the other hand, bring fresh perspectives and unique fighting styles to the game.
Sean is a breath of fresh air with his half Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu-inspired moves. He combines ground-based grappling techniques with explosive strikes, making him both versatile and exciting to watch. His gameplay mechanics offer a whole new layer of strategy, forcing players to adapt and think on their feet, bringing him back s a hybrid of ryu/ken mixed with laura along with giving his hadoken basket ball movements for unpredictable play, could actually make him a good c-a tier
And let's not forget about Sakura! She may initially appear as a Ryu clone, but she quickly establishes her own identity with a more agile and acrobatic fighting style. On the other hand, Jamie is just another generic himself clone. We already have enough of those in the game. There's nothing particularly interesting or groundbreaking about his fighting style. He's just a carbon copy of a character we've seen countless times before.

It's just i love drunken fist fighters in fighting games. And Jamie does put a unique spin on the drunken fist.
His starting weak, and unlocking more abilities with drinks is pretty unique for as far as i know, the only other i can come up with is Hakan who needed to oil himself up to unlock his potential, but even that is diffrent.
We already have Ryu, Ken, and now Akuma is coming back. The roster is still not big big, we only have 2 boxers for example.

I honestly cannot believe these "leaks" have gotten this much traction. This is nothing like the full roster, concept art leak that was obviously credible. Not saying it’s impossible, but Sakura, Dictator, and Vega, along with an all new fighter, are pretty safe bets to begin with and the source has essentially said "trust me bro". I think the community is just bored since we’ve seen Akuma now and he’s the end of the first year of content.

3) Legacy characters are taken seriously in Japan and why you never see them replaced. They become the franchise, not just characters. Capcom wants to appeal to the West and has been trying for over a decade, so they are trying to find ways to slowly do so without enraging their fanbases. They were willing to do this with all their IP with one point, or they just discontinued a series. Nero was meant to replace Dante and since SF III they've wanted to replace the legacy cast.
By aging them up it's a perfect excuse. But consider this: Never was a character cast limited in the past when adding characters. They came in all ages and shapes. Now all of a sudden they have to fit the age demographic to appeal. No fighting game series can replace legacy characters and make a younger reskin using the same moves. Soul Calibur tried this and suffered for it. This is partially why I think a timeline in fighting games shouldn't make big leaps in time for longevity or they risk running into the issue of aging out their roster for believability, believability that compromises a huge aspect of the game. You'd need to create a new franchise, which Capcom won't do. They have a hard time making new characters stick, only female characters seem to based on sex appeal mainly. They never gave enough time to certain characters to grow in the new gen, so they dispose and throw in more variants or unappealing fighting style.
4) I'm being facetious about Capcom's greed. You definitely lack a sense of humor. No matter what I'll never agree with paying for access to an expansion on a fighting game when I grew up unlocking them. I'm no fool and wont' be milked by FOMO. This isn't the same company that did great things, it has been one willing to make bad decisions to reach monetary gain. Going after modders, ruining Dragon's Dogma 2 and axing many IP because they can't make gross amounts of money from the genre. The only reason Street Fighter exists is because they can extract more money from it from consumers.

Yeah. I’m also extremely annoyed that most of the returning characters are from Street Fighter II. We already have a cool new villain and the OG world warriors are pretty much the only returning characters in the base game. I also would like more characters that did not appear in Street Fighter V like Elena.

I'm happy M Bison is coming back, it doesn't feel like a complete Street fighter game without people like him. Also I really hate the stupid trend of fighting games excluding characters just because they aren't in the current game's story or lore, who cares??? Bison doesn't even really need an explanation to return, or at least not one that fits current canon. Oni doesn't even exist outside of Akuma's potential and Kage is a part of Ryu's psyche, what-ifs characters are nothing new for Street Fighter, and if Bison is to return it could simply just be a case of "what if bison actually survived his fight with ryu?"

Shadaloo Legacy characters should be left out completely in SF6. Their story had a very fulfilling conclusion, most members of old Shadaloo grew out of the organization and are now doing their own thing (Vega even somewhat got something of a redemption arc where he became more sane at the end of the story mode and his arcade ending). I would prefer to keep M. Bison and Vega, along with Balrog away from SF6 and at most, tease them and Shadaloo for a return in SF7. Instead they should add new *Neo-Shadaloo* members to the roster and expand their lore.
And as for R. Mika, i feel like a role that would be great for her is as a mixed Tag Champion with Alex. Alex is honestly way too barebones and lacks any true personality while Mika feels too much like a Zangief copycat now mainly focusing only muscles and wrestling. Them together would help Alex het some actual personality while with Mika, Alex‘s presence would ground her some more and make her more than just a Zangief fan
sorry but luke is so much more interesting than Sakura lmao, please don't forget that Sakura is just a ryu clone - that's the point of her character. Luke is different and a breath of fresh air a genuine good face of the new era of Street fighter, being a proper boomer because he likes a dance won't make him cringe
On the one hand, based on how the other characters have been, these characters will be the best they've ever been in both gameplay and design, but I want more 3S characters!

Concerned about R. Mika. If everyone noticed they gave all the ladies of SFV a boob reduction and made them less lean. R.
