Great video as always. I fished Seneca Lake, one of the Finger Lakes in New York and Calf Island in Lake Ontario, New York when I was younger and would use soft shell crayfish in 40-60 feet of water . Of course there were no Zander nor Norther Pike. Being able to catch that many big fish in shallow water is very impressive.

@@AndrewsKnots Andrew , there is a reel on Ali by Piscifun, the Carbon X 2000 double handle. 12 BB's, 3 washer carbon fiber drag, Carbon fiber rotor and body, and double carbon fiber handle. The CNC aluminum spool is beautiful. The reel is all black. 35 Euro, $41 USD. I know it's chinese but I've spent more for a Carbon Fiber double handle then the whole reel

I use Decoy Worm25 3/0 OR Daiwa Prorex jighead 4/0 for 10 cm. lures; then for 7-8 cm. lures I use Decoy Worm25 1/0 OR Daiwa Prorex jighead 1/0.

Can I ask in cold conditions are you recommending a very slow retrieve and keeping the lure on the bottom ?.is this because of the cold and inactivity of the fish thanks
