I started watching anime around 2011-2012 and didn't get into the more retro stuff until about 2020 during COVID lockdown, but honestly 80s and 90s anime had the best songs by far. Listen to the SSX Orbit OP, or Aura Battle Dunbine, or the various opening songs from the Yuusha franchise, or Martian Successor Nadesico, or Dirty Pair. Every single one of these is am absolute banger the likes of which we never hear in modern anime anymore. I still like a lot of modern anime but most of the songs in it are generic AF and not memorable at all.

過労で心身ともにキツイ時に聴くと涙がでる。
この作品のエンディング曲でしたが、幻想的な画面に似合う曲でした。不思議とハーロックのエンディングは前作も名曲で歌詞が素晴らしくでした。

無限軌道ＳＳＸ ED 「ハーロックのバラード」この曲を聞くとハーロックの人物像が浮かび色々な仲間から信頼されていたのが思い出されます。声優の井上真樹夫さんが亡くなりハーロックの声は聞けませんが、漢はこうでありたいとおもいます。曲を歌う水木一郎さんも大好きであり作詞作曲者も素敵です。
