Great playing Justin, hey I have an idea for ya. How about some videos of you taking a song that you never played before, and then showing us your process in figuring out how to play it. That would be cool to see you work through a new song, and give us an incite in how you personally learn all of the songs that you play. That would be very helpful to a lot of use that are having trouble learning songs on our own, just a thought. Cheers mate!

I seen Maiden do this live. Steve Harris gazing into my camera, I snuck in. He was so cool not minding I wasn't supposed to be capturing him. What's great about Justin is he sings to the lesson so we can know where to put it! I play and sing.
Only in the first chapter of the beginners course, but after buying that songbook and the rock songbook, I had to see this. AWESOME. Can't wait to play this!!!!

A Tele bridge pickup would actually work pretty great (except you would want a vibrato bar for the last part of the solo.)
Single coils into a graphic eq (cut highs, boost mids and lows) into a good high gain pedal or amp works just fine.
At high volumes you'll have more noise/hum, but teles and strats even with single coils can easily do Maiden.
I was just playing this one with a strat into a boss EQ-200 for eq-ing and overall signal boost (high output pickups be damned) into a Diezel VH4 (pedal not amp because I don't make Rock Star money). That pedal adds a lot of tight low end for the chugs even with gain at 5 O'Clock. Then into a boss delay into a Fender Deluxe. No problem getting a usable Iron Maiden tone.
