Thanks! Been using my Hero3 ( HumbleOutdoors with free 32GB SD) for about two weeks now. I'm happy with it, the low light improvements and slimmed dimensions are a worthy upgrade.

It's taken me a while to get to grips with the techniques and also learning FinalCutPro, but it's been worth it I think. Thanks for the inspiration!
Very nice job, wonderful scenes, good use of near and far objects, light, colour. It shows a bunch of professional qualities, Very nice job considering the small size and abilities of the camera. The least attractive scene was the slowed down underwater scene were you were waiving the camera around (from 35 sec.) because is displayed a lot of ghosting, the limitation of the camera @ such a high resolution. The wavy grass scene (3'08") was very cool. Thank you for sharing.
1080P looks good! Pulled the trigger and ordered a 'Black Edition' Hero3 ( HumbleOutdoors w/free 32GB memory). The integrated wi-fi sealed the deal. The slimmer size is also an big plus.
Great work, beautiful images, can't help but comment on how barren & devoid of marine life the Aegean sea has become... I've just got back from Western Australia where I bought a GoPro & used it in the ocean for the first time, in comparison, fish were everywhere

I believe that the final video kinda lost quality due to edit and render procedures.You could use some image stabilization at some points as well. Video footage is pretty nice though!Thanks for sharing.
thank you! No..the colors..underwater the colors are very green without a filter..I don't like filters because they are not for every time..sometimes with filters you have red color or magenta more than it should be..in my opinion red-magenta is more difficult to be corrected.

So, just to confirm, there was no filter used in this footage? I have the Hero3 Blk and will be snorkelling in Cuba. I want to know for certain if I need a filter for 3-4m depth in Carribean water.
i think hero3 works better for you because with hero2 you have to buy the dive housing extra and costs 60$ i think..with the hero 3 the new housing has a flat lens so you will not have a focus problem...if you think about the cost of the black edition you can go for the silver edition which is like hero2! (hero3 definitely :p )
anyone know how the hero 3 would react to night dives/cave dives/ darker places? if i used a torch, would hot spots be a problem, or does it work ok in the dark?
Gopro hd hero 2 looks better while diving.. I don't if i need a HD hero 2, Hero 3 white or silver.. is it worth the extra money.. using it for cars/water skiing/winter sports/motorcycles..
I am thinking of getting a gopro for my brother, he dives. Which gopro Hero 2 is this? or do you recommend I go for Hero 3? Which works best for scuba divers? Thanks!
