I was thinking the same, so I researched a bit. There os a program called "ReelSteadyGo" which helps you to create that cinematic look. After that its only colorgrading.
They're also a great example of how reality differs from what we're shown. Those female skiers look like they merrily hiked up there and skied/boarded down, but I'd but that was filmed over multiple runs, with a support crew, possibly a helicopter to get them to the top etc.
Its just fancy way to advertise. You need alot of money to do that. Its only for the rich in developed countries. As beautiful they same show life to be, practically its very diff. Do appreciate them but cant live like that always

Video DSLR Tutorial every clip has some sort of color correction, slo-mo, the mountain is time-lapse. I'll be really suprised and very impress of those clips are all RAW and untouched.

Cuz Hero 5 is where they really stared to focus on using great software to compliment good or decent hardware. Hero 3 is still modern and Hero 4 has great specs, but they lack modern image processing softwares present in action cams and smartphones.
the base price of the new models have dropped too, meaning that the old models will probably be even cheaper :D I will buy my first gopro this year so I am in doubt wether I should buy the 5 black or the 4 black.

Come on GoPro. 2:03. I film at night all the time with the GoPro4 Black, which is the same as the new 5, and that shot is not possible. Night time footage is grainy, no detail. Low light and you're getting the foreground, white mountains and stars?
its long exsposure. its possible. they took alot of long exosure shots, post processed everything and put it all into a time lapse, very very long drawn out process almost not worth it..
They use manual mode with the right setting to avoid grany images, your videos go grainy because the camera bumps up the ISO too much to try and get the exposure correct, also noise reduction in post really makes a difference

guykgfnhy I believe there's some software that'll remove/soften the video to decrease the noise but you'll lose image quality in exchange.
