700 dogs rescued from puppy mill in Iowa; 53 available for adoption in Studio City

- Out of the 700 rescued dogs, 53 were transported to Wagmor Pets Dog Rescue in Studio City, which is hosting an adoption event on Sunday in honor of National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day.

As a dog owner, my heart breaks when I heard that these dogs were rescued from being euthanized. I pray that they will soon find their forever homes. I really liked that corgi featured in this segment but I already have 3 wonderful dogs 😊❤🐕

That's great news! It's always heartwarming to hear about dogs being rescued from puppy mills. I hope all the rescued dogs are able to find loving and caring homes soon. And it's wonderful that some of them are available for adoption in Studio City. Do you know which shelter or rescue group is handling the adoptions? I would take the dad dog if I could. I never will understand how people can abuse an animal. It seriously must reflect the abusers self loathing and need to control those who can't do anything to protect themselves. People should be allowed to know who the breeder is. This way, he can't keep doing this. Stop protecting the criminals.

Not sure I believe that puppy mill was going to euthanize these pups when they could have sold them for a few thousand each to pet stores in record breaking time.
These are only 53 out of 700 , what happens to the rest ?

Facts, I agree with u 100% I'm an animal person not a people person we need both types of people in this world because too many animals as well as children are left behind disregarded abused and neglected.

If they're from a puppy mill, that doesn't mean they're pure bred. They could be mixed, and just labeled as pure bred. Puppy mill "breeders" don't care. Also, i would call a puppy mill "breeder" 3:06 a breeder. Don’t tell people they come from breeder, and that they're pure bred. Tell them they come from a closed down puppy mill, and that you THINK they're pure bred, but they might not be. Be honest.

The state government should step in and dismantle puppy mills that are breaking the do's and don'ts. puppy mills are a bad environment for dogs.

There should be stricter laws. These abhorrent breeders should be euthanized for caring so little about other living beings. I will definitely donate!! I would adopt them immediately if my HOA didn’t have limits. ❤ I pray they will all go to super loving homes. Corgi’s are the coolest little big dogs.

I adopted a dog that was 10 years 3 months old,he was in a puppy mill for 10 years.... he's the sweetest,loving, forgiving dog and loves and appreciates his new life....I would do anything yo make him happy....these mills need to have all the dogs rescued, arrest the owners and burn them to the ground!!!!

I hear where you're coming from! Please keep in mind, 2 wrongs don't make a right. I believe people should come first too, but the problems with humanity are so overwhelming and never ending. I'm ok with the lives of these dogs being saved!
