Dior Homme Original and 2011 is perhaps one of my all time favourites, especially in my life where most people just know the standard perfumes available and don't branch out, this one brings me so many compliments and questions as to what i'm wearing because it's so different to the standard stuff- this one is a lady puller for me, it brings a proper classy gentleman kinda vibe around you, and the dry down on my skin, is absolutely amazing. Signature scent worthy? By a million miles

Glad to hear they're quite similar, and that the new one still carries the cocoa, which is what makes it a true masterpiece IMO. I was using my 2011 bottle sparingly, but will now use it normally. Thanks Ash for the review!
I also bought DHO a year ago and I was blown away . It seemed creamier and heavier on the Iris on the top . I only wore it twice last year so I had a year to let it macerate and it’s even better . I love this fragrance . This is still on eBay for 125 . I was lucky to get both this and a Back up of Dior Homme Eau before it doubled in price . I love the whole line ! It’s scary to think we never may have these fragrances in the future so even tho I buy backups I still use sparingly. I put this on before bed because I love it so much but where it out occasionally!
Very similar to comparing white paint colors. When you see a swatch of a white paint, you say, “that’s white”. Until you pick a different swatch of white paint, and then you see the differences.
Agree 100% i have a dior homme 2014, 2019 and dior homme original 2021, 2014 is the more aery, 2019 have some citrus at the opening, dior homme original have more iris
Living in America got mine the other day from ebay and was incredibly happy with the purchase. The price wasnt to crazy it cost me 118 for a 100 ml and I definitely consider it worth it. The 2020 version is fine and may be more versatile but as a huge iris fan theyre not even worth comparing to each other.
The dior homme line has definitely left its impression on me. The line has given me a love for iris and it's showing now through my collection. I would love to hear your take on ATH Homme. Has one of the creamiest iris openings I've smelt and I can't get enough of it. Your an iris lover and I'm sure you would enjoy it immensely.
I never knew I would love the Dior Homme Line as much as I do now cause of the lipstick thing! Because of you, I bought intense and fell in love as soon as I sprayed it, then I bought parfum afterwards which I gravitated and worshipped more because it's more darker than the intense version and now I might get the Original too 😅

I had a sample of the older dior and just bought the new dior homme original. And i must say i like the old one more too. The older one smelled more fresh and special. The new one smells more flower like.

@@torres7918 sure buddy, I’ve had the silver stem twice and liked it less than the black stem. both times, I’ve sold it again. in my opinion, the black stem was more refined and really a better formulation than the silver one, which has the vintage bonus to it. there was no difference in terms of performance. the silver stem had a more harsh lavender note in the opening, while the black stem was smoother from the start. you don’t need the silver stem unless you’re a collector who doesn’t care about the scent. however, that’s only my opinion. same goes for DHI by the way. the first formula was more cocoa heavy and kind of closer to the skin, so I preferred the second formula which was louder and heavier on the iris.

same goes for my pre 2020 DHI.
can you help me break down the truth about the silver stem, rumor has that is the original true 2005 version, is this true
I love the original I copped it back in November 😉, I hate the 2020 blend🤭
That stuff smell like a girlie fragrance to me
Probably because of the iris
It's a little girly, powdery and iris. Not bad though. I only have intense and cologne I think the cologne is more masculine with citrus opening and woody/sweet dry down.
I liked this video better when The Fragrance Apprentice did it a week ago. Lol, this video is a clone.
Your wife's nose is progressing.
I really like dior homme original. But cant stand the intense anise opening
I love it!!! No seriously I due the one that every body hates lol 😂 And the original and the intense and parfum lol no seriously not lol seriously lol Due in your faces 😂😂😂 but not in a bad way😂
I own the silver collar Dior homme and silver collar Dior homme intense
So let me get this straight, Dior Homme *Original* is made to be like the *Original* Dior Homme 🤔 but the *Original* Dior Homme, is not *THE* Original Dior Homme? 🤔🤔 So Dior Homme *Original* smells like the Original Dior Homme, but not *THE* Original Dior Homme? 🤔🤔🤔 All this confusion had mad me realize how weird *Original* looks as a word when typed multiple times
I'm so fukn confused 😕 😐 🙃
Dont waste the money, dosesn’t last more than 2 hours
I get minimum 10 hours from mine after 2 sprays.
Nonsense
I get 8+ hours from intense and 6+ from cologne.
if use outdoor yes.. indoor ? not really
👍👍👍👍👍
First !
👍🏾👍🏾🔥🔥🔥
Kind of ridiculous how they are milking it
They arent. Dior homme 2020 got huge backlash, therefore the original dior homme came back (and im so happy)
@@lillvesp it never left. Dior Homme Original has been around since 2020.
@@flightgravity7483 well yes i know. I shouldve said stayed in stead of came back.
