      It’s the NBA, not a support group. A professional needs to be able to leave their personal issues in their car when they get to work, do their job as a team mate, and then they can get back to contemplating flat earth, vaccines and whatever else.

      Kyrie has his own agenda. He comes off as a delusional narcissist. He’ll demand his own schedule and his own way of doing things eventually and that won’t work in Dallas. Although this is a short rental, less than half a year so he may try to make it work so he can get what he wants in the off-season. We’ll see But I’m not chalking this up as good move for Dallas yet.

    Everyone saying “wow Kyrie is happy.” Take it with a grain of salt. Have you ever been in a toxic relationship? The honeymoon phase is always great. This is the most unpredictable player in NBA history. It’s great to see him happy but let’s wait till the offseason before jumping to conclusions if he is staying.
    (I am a Kyrie fan, but let’s be realistic)

      Exactly... He just left a situation that he created and that he wanted... KD never wanted to go to BKN... He literally only went there for Kyrie... Kyrie asked him to go to BKN instead NYK... Then Kyrie got to choose the coach he wanted... Nets gave him some decision making power as well... He was literally playing for his hometown team... Playing with his best friend... Had creative control... And still didn't show up to work everyday lol and become unhappy... He will never be happy

    So good for the team, Dallas was really good with Brunson and now they look like this again but with an even more experienced player in that position. Luka with an additional ball handler at Kyrie’s level is key to them winning a title

      Absolutely!! As a Celtics fan, I am just so mad at Danny Ainge for making that deal. I was never happy with his trade irrespective of his behavior in Boston. He wasn't a winner until Bron played with him. Same in Brooklyn where he loses most of the games without KD. He is talented but not a leader that he thinks he is. He continues to blame the organization. Celtics didn't do him dirty as he continues to talk trash about the org.

      IN FAIRNESS: I’m a huge fan of Ky on and off the court. But his interviews are similar at every stop. So it’s insincere to ask how others can’t dislike him. He’s a polarizing guy. I enjoy his personal commentary. But his interviews speak of EACH stop being THE stop. He’s too great for all of the modern day player movement. In MY humble opinion. 2nd or 3rd best PG of this era after Curry & maybe Harden in my view. (Harden is a 2G to me though they’re ALL listed as PG/SG these days) Best dribbler and showman since Kobe and Curry.

    Full circle.. His mother was from the same projects/public housing I was from in the South Bronx, after living in Brookly I then moved my small family to NJ (where he was raised) then moved back to Brooklyn from NJ and lived in Waxahachie Texas for a year, in between my time in Brooklyn, and loved it so much? I want to move back to Texas for good.

      They say you can’t stop KD either. And it would seem that would be a better match, given the dynamic of those positions. We’ve seen how two scorers in SAME backcourt not always work out the way it should. Remember when cp3 and harden were in their prime and they were going g to be UN stoppable!!!! I want see how this works in the long term, Dallas needs better bench and another scorer that helps open Luca’s space. But another guard making points is not the dynamic they need
