    Whichever beautiful bubba is barking at about 7.08 she sounds a bit like Donald Duck?
    And that bubba LOVING THE SNOW at the end is the happiest loveliest thing ive seen this week. month. year?
    i would watch an hour long video of just that! Actually i'd probably BUY an hour long video of that for sad or down days!

    I love them air fried the best. Plus it’s faster and I hate waiting lol.

      I totally hate waiting! Unless I have a bunch of stuff do to, sometimes I'll put them in the oven when I know I need to get on the treadmill and have a shower after. Almost perfect timing.

    This was an absolutely awesome video! Thank you! Felt like I was watching a science experiment. 😆 All that was missing was the hypothesis. I love it! Plus talk about the bonus meal prep!

    Glad the Oven baked were awesome as I gave away my top of the line Air fryer about 6 months ago. The mediocre cooked food results in the Air-fryer was not worth the space the Air fryer took up on my counter. I’m definitely goi g o try the precooked,
    Oven baked methods.👍🏼

    I cook my wedges on a cooling rack in the oven. It cooks them evenly and no parchment paper or flipping required :)

    So glad that you offered these different "get-crispy" versions since I don't have any fancy toys so will try the baked to smashed to baked crispy method. Looking forward to the experiment. Cheers.

      I'm so glad you found it helpful! I started out with just the basics and did just fine! Then people were asking me about air fryers and other things so I figured I should try those too

      I agree! Though sometimes if I want to get a few things done before eating, I will through into the oven. It's a nice little timer to get some cleaning done hehe! Clean then potato reward!

      Potato Wisdom I will cook them in the oven at a lower temp for a longer time. The Breville Air fry feature just doesn’t work as good as an air fryer anyway. So I’ll use the bake feature instead.

    I was wondering if steaming the potatoes would make them crunchier?

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  6 місяців тому

      steaming will give similar results to pressure cooking, whatever method you like the most go for it!

  • @sandorkocso1798
    @sandorkocso1798 4 роки тому

    also if you airfry them do you always do it in a single layer or pile more on?

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  4 роки тому

      single layer, otherwise they stick together. I recommend an air fryer no smaller than 5 qt. Apparently there are some air fryers with a rack insert to make a double decker

      Not a steamer basket but the little wire rack that it came with

    Do you use a trivet in the pressure cooker or place them on the bottom in the water? I haven't used the pressure cooker yet because I don't have a trivet.

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  2 роки тому

      You can make them without the trivet, the bottom potatoes will be a little soggy but the rest will be fine.

    An ice bath immediately after cooking will cool veggies off really quickly

    How long did you cook them in oven at 420F?

      The time was in the video, if I recall correctly 50 minutes

  • @Raeleeis

    I out mind potatoes in a steamer on the stove... Would they be similar to pressure cooking?

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  4 роки тому

      I have a feeling they would be quite similar in texture because the pressure cooker essentially is a steamer under pressure. Just be sure not to over cook them, fork test.. the fork should slide into the flesh easily without breaking up the potato.
