Concert Etude in C Major (original composition, 2017)

- This is an older piece back from 2017 before I had any formal studies in music theory. The notation is a bit incorrect sometimes (such as the b9 in measure 11 that is incorrectly notated as G#) and some of the patterns (there are some annoyingly large and fast jumps) aren't very pianistic and idiomatic at times. The simple triplet pattern in the piece however acts both as a pianistic etude as well as a compositional etude in harmonic progression.
Chopin is probably the inspiration - Beautiful!
Wanna play this!
Thank you! And yes, definitely. Probably his op25 no1 and prelude in eb major are quite similar.
@@Erolon I can defiantly see some inspiration from the Chopin prelude lol.
Wonderful piece! This piece reminds me a lot of Chopin's Prelude Op28. No.19 Eb major.
Very impressive, great study!
Thank you!
What a nice and fast-paced study! I like the different dynamic shifts you use in this. (:
I need to analyze this piece when I get home
Very nice composition. The Chopin bleeds through here and I love it.
impromptu no 1?
This etude sounds very good
Thanks!
Hi, I love your compositions. Just want to know, which university taught you that? I am a young composer who is interested in classical music. I am looking for teachers and university!
I received lessons later on but in 2017 when I composed this piece I was completely self taught.
Impressive
I guess you are inspired by Liszt's Waldersrauschen (S.145/1), because the set also has the title 'Concert Étude' and it also has triplets (I mean the first one).
Looks like you love triplets lolol
The melody doesn't really hang very well together. Not enough regularity....sounds kinda like a random note generator.
