How was the Rama Setu Built? Engineering Behind Adam's Bridge Explained | THE HINDU SAGA
Rama Setu, also known as Adam’s Bridge bears a mammoth significance in visiting and re-visiting the Indian history. While most of us know who built the bridge from Ramayana, not all of us are aware how the bridge was actually constructed.
If you have always thought that the bridge was constructed by randomly throwing stones in the ocean, then this video is for you.
The concepts of engineering used in a time as old as 5000 BC is way ahead of its times,

Rama came during 24th Chaturyugas Tretayug and Ramayan happened 1.8 Crore years before but u r dating just 7000 Years which is not matching with any of ur Vedic time scale and in Ramayan it has mentioned the 4 tussled elephant guarding city gates of Lanka when Hanuman went which as per scientist they say those elephant became extinct 15 million years ago ???? And the times scale which Sadhguru explains and Yukteshwar has told that also does not match I had gone thru their calculation it’s not matching with any era of ours properly with the yoga’s also

Beautiful!
Fascinating
Mahabharat was happened 5000years ago. Ramayan was written 10000+ years ago
Ramayan and Mahabharat are history. But what is the evidence of the timeline?
Jai Sri Ram 🕉🙏🙏🙏💛
Not Adam bridge...it's lord raghava bridge

Jai shree ram ❤
It would have been a road back then because the Sea was much lower then.
🤣
The sea level was lower only around 10,000 years ago.
@@phoenixj1299 Ramayana predates Mahabharata. The video states that Ramayana was written 5000 years ago, but Ramayana was written around 10000 yrs ago. this is evident in the fact that Krishna from Mahabharata died in 3104 BCE which is ~5000 yrs ago
It's Our Itihaasa, not a mythology
But how can stones sink
🙏🙏
As a new sub to your channel would like to recommend not using cartoon depictions of our gods. The pictures you guys are using are pretty nice :) Nice videos BTW :))
We always appreciate constructive feedback. Thank you for subscribing.
@batboi
I've watched this video & I found nothing wrong in those cartoon depictions. Those drawings and animated videos are beautifully made
Joy shri ram
You mean Adam's Bridge
Nope. Its called Ram Setu
Please say in hindi.
OUR GRATEST KING IS RAWANA.
Does there is possibility that it was built by Samrat Ashoka when he sent his Son and daughter to spread Buddhism in Sri Lanka.......🙏
Bhakk
They just told in the video that the stones are at least 7000 years old
Do your own research....stop taking credits of others hard word
😂😂
If the text is 5000 years old but the sand is only 4000 years old, then the text is obviously NOT referring to anything built on top of this sand.
NEW DELHI: Did Ram exist? It's a question that has pitted historians against believers time and again. While historians cite lack of evidence to say Ram was a mythical personality, those who believe otherwise claim that significant evidence exists to confirm that Ram existed in flesh and blood. So, where does the truth lie?
According to R P Tripathi, professor of ancient history at Allahabad University, "History requires concrete evidence in the form of coins, inscriptions, etc to prove the existence of a character. Even if we take into account places mentioned in the Ramayana like Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, which still exist, the fact is that Ramayana is not a historical text. So, from that perspective, there is no historical evidence available of Ram. Having said that, we still cannot negate Ram's presence easily, since he has been a part of our collective consciousness for a long time."
"In fact, it is precisely because of this, that we cannot look at Ram objectively, since he has made the transition from being simply a character in an epic to a religious figure," says S Settar, former chairman of the Indian Council of Historical Research. "In mythology, there are many characters who have been similarly mentioned. Does that mean that they all existed?" he asks. So, are all mythical texts just that - only myth? Or, is there, somewhere, a grain of truth in them?" Myths have to be carefully interpreted to find that grain of truth. In Ramayana's case, there is no evidence to prove that it is anything else except a myth. There is also no evidence - either historical or archaeological - which proves that Ram ever existed or that he ruled Ayodhya," claims Settar.
However, there are some who beg to differ. "If archaeology cannot prove whether a temple existed at Ayodhya or a mosque just 500 years ago, what help can it render in establishing historical events more than 7,000 years ago?" asks Pushkar Bhatanagar, author of the book, Dating The Era Of Lord Ram. "If the masons of those times failed to construct buildings which could survive seven millennia, an inference should not be drawn that the country had no inhabitants at that time or that Ram is a myth," he adds.
However, history requires substantial evidence that can satisfy all academics, says R S Bisht, former Jt DG of the ASI. "Historical evidence has been found about such personalities as Ashoka, who left behind edicts. Unless similar evidence is found about personalities like Ram, it will be difficult to prove their existence," he says.
Will such evidence ever be found, considering that the cities of that time have been built several times over? Nobody knows. For the time being, however, Ram remains a myth, at least in the eyes of history.
There is a flaw in there argument. According to them, coins and inscriptions solidified the historcity of a character. There were kings in the past who ever extremely devoted to god's. So what if they printed the image of a god like Indra, Zeus on coins? Does that mean Indra/Zeus existed? Same logic can be applied with inscriptions. To conclude historicity of a character, we should find whether a character have an association with already proven historic character. We should then see whether that character have a non conflict timeline. The character should be tested with all kinds of questions and its shouldn't fail any of them. So that's how we should check the historicity of a character. Ramayan/Lord Ram have prevailed all the questions including archeological ones. So we can conclude that Ramayan is history.
Not setu...this is Adam's brides
