Would love to see you do a video showing how you prep TPBs in the same way. I want to start custom binding myself, but as I don’t own any single issues (I’m a trade waiter) a video such as that would be awesome, just to give me an idea of how it works 👍🏻

Doing this for the first time and I have no idea what options to pick for just a standard bind. Using either Houchen or Herring and Robinson, havent decided yet. Any tips would be great! Thanks!!

I must admit, I've not done this yet as I tend to skip floppies as I prefer the collected story trades, or the huge Omnibus style books. But, depending on the ad (For example, the ones at roughly 0:45, ) I might be inclined to use them as posters, or to decorate notebooks of A4 or larger. Makes a bit more sense then just tossing them to me.

Is the back cover where you cut it the same strategy you use for cardstock covers

I have about 15 single issues of the Gladstone EC reprints from the early 90s that I would like to have bound in a single volume-about how much would that cost?

Ok I’m Matt. I’m based in the US and I’ve used a couple different binderies.
Houchen Bindery is a great one and cost is approx $70 to get what I call “the works”. Graphic covers, head and tail bands, ribbon bookmark etc.
The other is Heroes Rebound. They are less expensive and you get more bang for your buck. I’m having a bind done now by them and it’s costing me $60 but I’m also getting a DJ as well. Something that Houchen would charge another $25 for.
Be prepared for a long wait. All my binds have taken 4+ months despite what the initial quote is. But in the end, it’s all worth it!
