I guess I would have noticed the signatures upon further inspection of my notes on a random day. That's another reason I'm fascinated with the hobby. All the little nuances you learn about. There are a solid handful of numismatic channels I watch and everyone speaks about something different and how they approach/ review the hobby. The comments are a trove of newly discovered information as well...
Nice note, that would grade high for sure. Well, I finally broke down and sent 6 notes into PMG to get graded. Not because they were in excellent condition, because they weren't. But they all had an error on them and I'm hoping to get the ERROR designation attributed to them. Time will tell.🤞So which mono-chrome note are you missing?
Yes. This note is pretty flawless. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I'm starting to think a lot more long-term regarding the hobby. I may start looking at Graded/ Grading notes. To gain some knowledge on that part of numismatics. Nice that you sent those notes in for grading. Since you do not have a channel as of yet, what type of errors are you looking to get accredited? Is there 6 different types of errors? I am only missing the $100 denomination (Monochrome note) to complete the set...
@@legaltender1980 Check with your local bank, I've acquired several that way. They are still in circulation. As for the errors, one is a filled star note, one has the 3rd print misaligned, one is a cutting error, one has a what's called a solvent smear, and another has an obstructed print in one of the corners and last is the 1995 FW note with the 295 engraving error. We'll see, you'll be the first to know when I get them back.

Those sound like some worthwhile notes, definitely worth the accreditation. The distinction and the grade will certainly give you a case when determining sales price (if you go that route). Hey buddy you want a cheap laugh my bank teller have a large quantity of the large non colorized 100$ portrait in her drawer being a small town she tell me people are scared to spend them because they believe to be fake since the colorized have been in circulation for a while. Thank God because I needed one for my type set.
I only have one note that predates series year 1928. A 1917 Horse blanket. That's by choice. I'm giving some serious consideration to expanding my numismatic collection and interest... What's the significance of the 1901 $10 note???
LOL because we have the Federal Reserve System that came into existence in 1913 and its not a bad thing because look at the jokes we have in congress do you want then to handle our money supply.
