I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this. I’ve been trawling through hours and hours of gelli printing content from dozens of other artists but until now, never found that special inspiration that speaks to me and soothes my soul. Thank you! ❤
Thank you for this wonderful demo. I am new to gelli printing and you have inspired me to add this technique for my book illustrations. Brilliant! Cecilia Drozda-Porter😊
Apologies for repeating what others have said below - this is stunningly good and awesomely encouraging - and all in 9 minutes! Thank you for gifting this expression of your creative essence to us all! Love the example.
This is AMAZING!!!!!!!! Please make many more videos, especially more collage apps. This is so intriguing to me and it is not a common topic here. I was so disappointed how few videos you have. And while I am VERY appreciative, you’ve addicted me. Your creativity is quite an inspiration. Thank you, thank you.
@@gelliprintingwithgabrielle3915 I have just completed my first 4 layer gelli print.. it was so good to do and I wouldn't have know how without your video!
This is really explained well to understand and easy to do! Thank you! Wish you’d come back and share more videos with us! Hopefully you’re doing well 🦋🙏🏻
Thank you so much for the step by step instructions...I always adored wood prints but am not good at carvings. Perhaps now, I will experiment with collographs. I love your work!
Just wondering how you tell if the first blue layer of acrylic is dry enough? or roughly how long would you leave it before applying the white layer? Great tutorial, amazing, thank you.
8:29 You can pull prints with an acrylic gel medium and thus preserve the white of the paper, since gel medium has no pigments at all. A combination of liquid medium and gel medium or heavy body medium even gives you full control if the fluidity and optimization with weather conditions like dry hot Summer versus humid cool Autumn. I love your style. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much yes I have been experimenting with gel medium- liquitex matt medium works well to pull the print and layer over a background too. So many options!
I'm just starting to explore gelli printing and found THIS! I would like to know what kind of acrylic paints and type of paper you use for your lovely Owl print?
This is gorgeous! Can’t wait to have a go. Does the cheap white paint have to be opaque or translucent? . I benefit from your calm presentation . So much needed at the moment in this unstable world . Thank you. Michelle from London UK
Thanks so much Michelle. The cheap white paint I use is meant to be opaque but doesn't have a lot of pigment. I use a very thin layer to pull the print so it looks translucent. It also works well with acrylic matt medium - and because it is clear you can then layer over a printed background
Thank you Gabrielle! I’m a fan of gelli printing but you show us how we can make marvelous and originals paintings with this tool. Thank you! Do you offer workshop on line?
Hi Gabrielle, fascinating video, thankyou. I've had failures with image transfer so I will try this now. Quick question: How did you get the texture in the landscape, I can't see any texture on the paper you used? thanks, JG
If I was the judge you’d be collage artist of the year. Please make more videos. Hope you are well.

Thanks so much Shelly, your site looks lovely, look forward to watching
Another stunning video. But I just can't get my head around collographs, much as I would love to.
Thanks for your lovely feedback! Collagraphs can be a bit fiddly but you could start with some very simple cutout shapes and just have a play!

Oh, yeah...
I’m confused. When I do similar things, I fail because it picks up all the paint arghhhhhh
Do you clean the roller when you switch to a different color paint or ink?
☺️♥️♥️👏👏👏👏

Nice result. Please remember you do not have to talk constantly.
