    This is the coolest thing ever! I loved etching in art school but don’t want to deal with chemicals in my tiny studio- but collagraphs are just as beautiful! And maybe more fun? And the endless ways to add color to them- I can’t wait. Thank you for your videos! 💖

    Your creativity is boundless and furthermore - you share the dynamism so that other people can let it inspire them, and show the context of your creativity as you realize it. I've got to tell you: it drives me wild. I so identify with this and am now attempting to emulate it by filming my experiments. Getting inspired and inspiring others is of the best things about creativity.

I would like to add my name to the list of folks interested in a video on your sketchbook process, techniques and materials. I have made quite a few collagraphs in my time, have every colour of intaglio and fluid Akua inks in my studio but have only just begun my maidan journey with the gelli plate. Wondering, do you prefer using Akua to acrylic paint on your gelli plate?

    • @CollagraphPrinting
      @CollagraphPrinting  Рік тому +2

      Thank you 🙏 I have no preference, akua doesn’t dry on the gelli plate so you don’t have to rush. Unless you are doing a multi layered pull in which case you would want to use quick drying acrylics. So I guess it’s all about what your intend to do.
