I loved this show so much; just briliant! Julia Sawalha is now 55 and Jennifer Saunders is now 66. I never knew their age gap was that small. Amazing -and a true testament to their craft!
Seeing this makes me appreciate Julia's acting all the more.....it must take real skill and effort to work with those two and be able to maintain that glum face so convincingly! lol I'd be in stiches most of the time!

Thanks Sam. Our meeting was really a coincicence and i didn't even know who she was at that time, i started watching AbFab later on. I met her through a drag queen friend we had in common in the 90s when i lived in London, so during the Saffy period , we were just drinking friends at first i was working at a few bars and clubs throughout the 90s (Sadi Maisie, Club Kali and what is now known as East Bloc) to put myself through vet med school and there were quite a few aspiring actors , singers, models , going there like Mathew Home , Tameka Empson or Scott Neal (beautiful things period) who are good friends as well . Julia and Nadia used to go there too along with Kathy Burke and James Dreyfus (gimme gimme period) . We became actual good friends through our shared love for animals (Julia is a major animals rights activist and a also a vegan and so am I and we used to visit and help at animals shelters) , And we have been meeting and hanging out together on and off ever since , though a lot less in the gay scene , which is not a bad thing because there was way too much excess in those days and i'm glad we all survived this decade without too much damage. I like her a lot as an actress , but much more as a person , she is truly adorable and very intelligent .
I know Joanna Lumley is known for playing horrid villains with scary make up but at 7:43 when she's out of character I was actually taken aback by how beautiful she actually is.

In season 1 Eddy turned 40 but Jennifer was only 34 at the time.
