Just a quick update about Filmora, and this method to reduce lag: After using Filmora for a good while now, I realized that there is this option called "Smooth Render", a great tool used to smooth out the video while editing so it doesn't appear as choppy. Even though this is a great and useful tool, this method DOES take a long time to do over and over again after every edit. Using Freemake Video Converter and converting it to WMV will reduce the need to do this over and over again, therefore, giving you more time to edit, and less interruptions. Thank you guys so much, and thank you all for almost 50k views.!
Andrew60278 omg!! can you please help me? I have been using filmora for a while, and I spent my money on it to remove the watermark, but whenever I have a long video, it would say “not enough space to render go to files and pick another folder” and I’ve tried EVERYTHING but it won’t work!!
Okay everybody in stead of converting every video file to wmv, I just click the play button with dots around it. It's right next to the zoom in/out icons underneath the time indicator beneath the video.. It prepares the video for accurate playback..
Jesse Makenzie I have downloaded Filmora9 and it doesn’t have that play with dots unless I have missed it. The lagging is even worse on Filmora9 I feel so frustrated and just watch the basic windows movie maker back!!!
Thank you guys so much for the love and support on this video! 20k views? You guys are crazy! Thank you for all your nice and helpful comments! Merry Christmas!
If you're video STILL lags after doing my fix first (you should do try my solution first before troubleshooting more), then it may be that you have to update Filmora. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Filmora does not automatically update itself, therefore, you must uninstall, and reinstall the software. Don't worry, you won't lose any progress if you happen to be working on a video at that time ;) Afterward, you can convert your projects (if you happen to have any) to fit the new version of Filmora you just updated, reply to me if you have any questions! Thanks!
Great video. Thanks for helping. I think I'm going to give Corel Video Studio 10x a shot instead. I cant wait through the conversion. Slows my computer down a ton.
I did that and not working, when Iam done editing (3gps) files, then replacethem with original files, videos not showing up, all the sounds and music stay.
Just click the "render timeline" button, or press enter. Takes forever tho, but faster than this.. I was hoping for another alternative.. Thanks anyway tho.
in the new version there is a render button, i tried getting the converter but I got a virus instead. you can easily convert a file using another app if needed
No just render the video.....takes awhile but makes it so you can watch your video while editing...if there is red over your timeline it needs to be rendered it goes from red to green
The pixelation will go away once you export your video. The reason that the video is pixelated while editing the video is because its only for display, and it's not final yet ;)
I don't have this problem but then you are about to export go in to settings put it on 60fps and put it on best and put it to a mp4 file and 1920 by 1080p and there is no lag
there's an easy way to get rid of the watermark in filmora BEFORE exporting, not through editing you wanna turn the wifi off on your pc, go to register filmora and use this email and password c2942269@drdrb.com 00289623F7B3B81E14AEB526144B6D08 it will register, then you can go ahead and export the video, make sure to keep wifi off throughout the entire export.
There's an easy way to fix that, go to the button that says,"Smooth Render", Filmora may guide you to it for you if it detects that Filmora is running slowly.
Thank you. That video helped me a lot. I hate Filmora laggings very much and now it's fixed??? Yay.
Thanks man or whatever, this one really worked for me or whatever, I thumbed it up or whatever,
MF The MEME LORD This had me dying
Yeah it worked for me also or whatever............
thx for the feedback or whatever

Where is the smooth render
Where is it
Answer us, where is it
This was the only thing that worked for me. Thanks Andrew .
THANK YOU!!! 3 years I’ve been struggling with this lag and it’s finally fixed
thanks. been struggling with this for a while

While that may work, it doesn't work as well and convenient as my method, read my comment 4 days ago about that.
Jesse Makenzie I have downloaded Filmora9 and it doesn’t have that play with dots unless I have missed it. The lagging is even worse on Filmora9 I feel so frustrated and just watch the basic windows movie maker back!!!
THANK YOU! I needed this!! I use filmora and the lag is horrible so I am going to try this out!!
K hope it works!

Is the idea you have called, "Smooth Render"? Or, "Render Timeline?"
Help my transition is lag ;c
Merry Christmas to you!
In love with the intro music you have. Good choice :)
Thanks!
@@Varixfn wat song is it?
really appreciate it. Realized I can also change my recorder settings. Thank you for this video.
LILTRadio You're welcome!

Nice work, I got to make sure mine are WMV files.
I'm not going to wait 3 hours for this to convert I rather download a editing software that can handle 4k
How come Filmora lags on your computer though? This fix is meant mainly for not-as-fast computers.
I'm filming at 4k not 1080p and the software can not handle 4k I'm now using premier pro
Lucky you, I just found an even BETTER fix for you. It will be posted publicly soon.
Try bringing down the quality, or the fps
it takes more longer to decrease the quality and fps
If my video is really laggy after it's been exported, would it work to export in WMV?
Thanks for that, worked well. Just a tip with narrating your videos, try to not say "or whatever" so much. Otherwise great work!
Great video. Thanks for helping. I think I'm going to give Corel Video Studio 10x a shot instead. I cant wait through the conversion. Slows my computer down a ton.
Kid, you know a lot. Thanks.
after exporting does it stay as wmv or can you get back your high quality fhd in mp4 format
you can put it back to mp4 when you export it
I just want to ask about the 3gp is that worth it to the video quality? And when it converted the result will be same?
I did that and not working, when Iam done editing (3gps) files, then replacethem with original files, videos not showing up, all the sounds and music stay.
You can export it as an mp4 file after you're done editing
Just click the "render timeline" button, or press enter. Takes forever tho, but faster than this.. I was hoping for another alternative.. Thanks anyway tho.
doesn't work for me they start to make a big thing in the middle still doing it in my video and it makes it blurry and still laggy
whats a big thing in the middle?
@@Varixfn the watermark!
because you need to pay for the software.. thats a free version you have.
I tried this and it works!! Thank youuuuuu
You're welcome!
@@Varixfn Hey this happened to me just five minutes ago and yes everything saved but now my audio is gone from project how do I get that back?
now i can make my channel better thank you s much man

in the new version there is a render button, i tried getting the converter but I got a virus instead. you can easily convert a file using another app if needed
That's interesting, the application is completely virus free. Try this link: www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/
No just render the video.....takes awhile but makes it so you can watch your video while editing...if there is red over your timeline it needs to be rendered it goes from red to green
I don't know much about qualities. but is that way have quality effects compair to the original video i use?
hi, @andrew60278, thanks for this. Just wanna ask if converting .mov file to .wmv will lower the quality of video. Thanks much!
no, as long as you use the right settings
no it's won't
right settings on what? camera or on the computer
\
THANK YOU SO MUCH
This doesn't work at all and it leaves a water mark on the converter where is the smooth render
In my computer is no lag
But in my notebook It's so annoying ..
simply cuz ur notebook is slower...
I tried this and it works Thank you
Thanks so much for this!
You're welcome!
Can you fix the lag/pixelation after you have already cut/edit your files?
The pixelation will go away once you export your video. The reason that the video is pixelated while editing the video is because its only for display, and it's not final yet ;)
My video in laptop it stop and stop not play again it's very very lagg
I have tried with a new file, but it has only made it worse!
Great video....very nice job..........................
What if you're using say a full film, editing it and chopping it into bits, would this still work? or would I need to convert specific clips?
You would simply convert the ENTIRE clip, and then cut it using filmora.
So I would have to edit it into small clips first beforehand?
No, you would do that after the conversion of the video, after the conversion, then you would cut it, and edit it using filmora.
Thanks for your help
I don't have this problem but then you are about to export go in to settings put it on 60fps and put it on best and put it to a mp4 file and 1920 by 1080p and there is no lag
That's how it is supposed to be. I mentioned that in the video.
why did it affect my audio?
U have got to be kidding me it will take 9 YEARS for it to format it
Lol that thumbnail. I saw that. ;3
I got hacked so I replaced the disturbing thumbnail with a more APPROPRIATE one, the original one. Thanks. It won't happen again ;)
Thank you thank you so much!!!!!
Your welcome! This IS better than converting it to 3GP because WMV is much better quality than 3GP, and WMV is still very-significantly less laggy.
i would rather deal with the lag
Please who knows other editing app I can use on my pc that let’s you export without watermark cause Filmora 9 gives me quite a lot of problem..
there's an easy way to get rid of the watermark in filmora BEFORE exporting, not through editing
you wanna turn the wifi off on your pc, go to register filmora and use this email and password
c2942269@drdrb.com
00289623F7B3B81E14AEB526144B6D08
it will register, then you can go ahead and export the video, make sure to keep wifi off throughout the entire export.
90k views 317 subs? 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
it be like that sometimes...
when i try to import my video it says "file opening error." Any idea what I am supposed to do?
Your video file possibly is not supported by Filmora, try to update filmora, because it really SHOULD support WMV files.
Thanks. I'll make sure to use WMV files instead of MP4. :)
is it no virus???? because my dad still using this computer
No virus guaranteed :)
hey, any idea how to remove the watermark from freemake
i explain in the video, just cut the first few seconds with the watermark in filmora, and the rest of the video is good.
@@Varixfn yea i did cut the first few seconds out but the rest of the video still has the watermark
REMINDER: DONT TRUST A KID
i cant find the render in the new fimora i downloaded

I got hacked. I will change the thumbnail immediately. Thank you for telling me so :)
FAM IT HAS A BIG UFO ON MY VIDEO IM SO FUCKING MAD RN
doesnt work. Freemake won't even let me add my video.
Double check to see if your ORIGINAL video file is an MP4, because if it isn't, Freemake may not be compatible with it.
Hi i just bought laptop today i7 8generation 16bg obtain memory video card intel and filmora lag alot
uhh nice song, what's it called?
It's from Chuki Beats, he's an awesome chill music producer.
u are pretty smart kid
Thanks
Thank you so much!
Why its lagging for the music
There's an easy way to fix that, go to the button that says,"Smooth Render", Filmora may guide you to it for you if it detects that Filmora is running slowly.
WHATEVER!
thank you bro!
hmm thx
nothing works, its stuttering whatever i did

is this idea copied from my video.
No, it is different between the steps and the file conversion. Your fix is very smart too! It just has different steps taken to edit the video.
My videos are WMV and they still lag..
Try using a lower video quality, it requires less power ;)
I did exactly like you said and it diden't work. Even the water makt was over the hole klip
You need to buy or hack filmora to get rid of watermark, I am pro so i hacked ;) I can show u how if u want
lol it still lags xDDD
i suggest u use audacity bro your voice is so loud
is freemake virus?
No, It's virus free.
