Having an idea concerning Sora's growth. It involves Wasteland from Epic Mickey, a few lost worlds, your power of revival idea, Sora and Kairi's paopu bond, an otherworldly seedy battle zone, your reward theory and a impossible grand trial across space and time that will not only test Sora in the most brutal manner, but will also change the course of his life, those around him and the series forever.

I’m really happy that Kairi decided to be trained by Aqua! I just hope she will continue to be playable and have a bigger role in the future
1:20 I don't see how that comment implied that he once had bigger plans for kairi in melody of memory. he just said it's told from her perspective, but isn't "her game".
If everyone's fighting foretellers I feel like they all have to be Master level I mean other than sora. Because ventus was out right away in kh3 and that can't happen with the foretellers

Kairi's is a very powerful character the fact that she isn't a very good fighter right now doesn't change that. In fact I wouldn't mind if Kairi decided that she doesn't enjoy fighting and chooses not to be a fighter unless it is needed at some point. If not her then one or two of the other wielders could have that kind of arc. I really like those kinds of arcs when they are done right.
Either way, I think that they are going to do something really cool with Kairi. They are moving the pieces to make her one of the only active wielders in the Realm of Light when the foretellers start making their move. Think about it, Roxas Xion and Lea most likely just want to be normal kids for now even if they will likely be forced to move soonish, Mickey is going to Scala and likely will get trapped or lost in some way, Sora and Riku are in Reality 2, and Aqua, Terra, and Ventus could very easily be trapped in the Realm of Darkness if they get separated because it takes all three of them to open a portal between the two Realms. Which means it will be very easy to make a game where Kairi has to go with Donald and Goofy to look at something that seems like a small problem. Or even go with Ventus to find a way to get Aqua and Terra back.
In other words I think that they are going to keep Kairi very busy trying to keep Reality KH from being torn apart while everyone else is away. I do think Roxas, Xion, and Lea will most likely help once they notice the problem is real but Kairi will most likely be the leader because she will be the first to take action.
I personally don't think that Kairi is going to Reality 2 because I think if she does that will be the same as her failing to keep Reality KH safe while all the other wielders are away. I also think that it would be either very bad for Reality KH to lose one of the Princesses of Heart, or it would be very bad for a heart of pure light to go somewhere where light doesn't exist. So yeah sorry we are in disagreement but I really do think she is going to be needed in Reality KH.
I am looking forward to Riku's next arc. Personally I think that while Sora is going to be focusing on the foretellers. Riku is going be focusing on the Darkness race that has been introduced. In other words I think that there are going to be three maybe four sides to the next saga. The Defenders of Light who are the Foretellers Luxu and MoM, The Servants of Darkness who are the Darknesses and those they control, Those who Lust for Power who are characters and groups like Maleficent, and Those who Try and Reconcile the Light and Dark which are Sora, Riku, and those they bring to their side. I think it is very likely that while Sora and Riku are gone their friends are going to be divided into the other three groups. Friends fighting against friends that sort of thing.
So yeah Riku learning to become more of a team player, and how to be a good leader makes a lot of sense for his character while he is in Reality 2. Even joining with Sora to help fix whatever Yozora's problem is. Then taking what he learns into the conflict between the foretellers and the Darknesses.
As for Sora I agree what he needs most is to learn some self confidence and focus. As well as when not to self sacrifice himself into the realm of death. For that there really needs to be consequences for both Sora as a person and Reality KH. Still the most glaring problem that Sora is going to have to deal with is the fact that he has forgotten someone. In Remind he says that he has abused the Power of Waking Six times, but we know he did that seven times. Which means Sora has forgotten someone, and through word choice and the fact that it would cause the most problems the most likely person for Sora to have forgotten is Riku. I am not sure how this will affect the beginning of his self confidence arc but it is something that seems to be happening.
As for the Destiny trio having there own BBS style game. I kind of like the idea. I do think it will happen later in the saga. After Sora and Riku have saved Yozora and Reality 2. And after Kairi is well on her way into her own character arc. So that's at lest two games before the Destiny trio get a game with all three of them maybe more if we get games about the other characters. The Destiny trio being the first trio to all become Masters makes a lot of sense. If only because I think that the title of Master is not actually something any of our present day characters know what it means, and it shouldn't have been given to anyone after the foretellers disappeared. If they all become true masters it will happen near the end of the next war or even after it.

@@hidinginyourcloset Now Now don't be to upset at Donald. It is very clear that he is better at the destructive magic then Healing. I mean just how many people do you know that can cast Zetta Flare. Just because he doesn't have much talent at healing doesn't mean that he isn't a good character.
That said if Kairi become a Healer character I would really like if her magic worked differently then everyone else. Make it so that she can cast more healing then everyone else, am maybe make her elemental spells really strong but one spell and then she is done until her magic reloads. Kind of the opposite of how everyone else but so long as she is part of a party it will not really matter. On a side note she would be very good against Undead if Kh had such things.

That's true. Donald is more of a black mage than anything else (cough cough zettaflare cough). It would be very cool to see Kairi be a white mage. We also don't really have many white mages in the KH series anyways, so that's a plus.
@@hidinginyourcloset Actually besides Minnie? Miny? the queen mouse lady that is married to Mickey, I don't think we have any White Mages. Ventus likely comes really close but in the combat, Paladin way rather then the healer way. Sure everyone can use healing magic but no one is really good at it and it exhausts their magic pool. Which for a real healer would be very bad.

Nonetheless, yeah, Kairi is in a pretty likely position for coming up against whatever the foretellers do.
That will be nice especially because he worries too much he shall try to make sora understand that life will take you thru alot of tough upbringings plus in a good way he needs to learn how to not be sad all the time
Kairi bout to be the only one with formal training from a Keyblade Master XD. Sora, Riku, Lea, Ventus, and Xion all were self taught in live combat at this point
Ok Noir my guy, I see many things happening for the destiny trio, I do agree that Sora does need to get out of a child mindset and act more mature in a sense I mean he has in KH3 but it can be better. For Riku I see more of him being a teacher and learning how to be a proper master since he just became one more than anything to add to his character development because I see no other thing with riku. I just feel like his arc is done but hey there are things that we may not know about riku that may get introduced. And for Kairi I feel like she will definitely tie a bigger role in the next phase as Numora plans to do. Maybe Kairi will have a special development that ties into the new 7 hearts as those were mentioned in KH3 but hasn’t been showed or a little bit more backstory on Kairi in the next phase with her past I expected it to be in MoM but was disappointed but something tells me numora has that planned later on. Talking about saving Sora, I think he will turn to darkness in a moment of desperation. All we saw so far but here's one more thing.
Remember the last battle of KH2? Sora & Riku vs Xemnas. Ol X man asks Riku "Are you sure you can trust Sora?"
Sora's darkness is mature enough to where he doesn't lose his Keyblade anymore. Imagine a fully mature darkness of fear and self hate within Sora to where he fights Riku with the player controlling Riku.
The cutscene starts off with Riku begging Sora to go home. Sora WAS jealous inwardly of Riku becoming a master so there is a bit of context.
Sora will allow his inferiority complex take over him to where they fight. Or maybe Rage form Sora is under the Master's control for this part. Could go either way.
Sora will tire out Riku before Kairi gets there and they team up to fight Dark Sora.

@@izzylandyt I saw his Reconnect and that's loosely what I'm talking about. However, instead of Kairi fighting Sora, it would be Riku.
It's Reconnect with a little twist. Riku is the main character but Kairi is a playable party member. ooh what if the normally useless select button was used to switch characters freely during battle? Wouldn't that be cool?

Mainly, if this has a collab with Kamen Rider as part of the secret ending, maybe Sora might be Sento/ Oma Zi-O's son.
My dream for Kairi is a 'girl's night out' game. All the boys are indisposed for some reason or another and Kairi, Aqua, and Xion with their white mage Namine in tow gotta go fight some big bad. One girl from each of the trios being badass together would be awesome
I'd be a little careful saying that Kairi will become so powerful under Aqua's tutelage. Remember, in KH3 alone Aqua is defeated five to six times (Ansem, Vanitas, effectively useless during Terranort TPK, Demon Tide, Terranort, and Xehanort doubles) not counting vs Sora, not to mention that when Aqua was titled a "Master" she was weaker than Kairi herself is in ReMind. There's also the worst part of all, old habits die hard and the writers of KH seem to love their damsels.
It annoys me that people always forget the training Kairi already did. While we don't know exactly what it was, we do know that A: It involves learning magic from a wizard. B: It involves sparring with the Nobody Organization's designated cleaner. C: Its more efficient than just going on and fighting heartless (else why even do it). D: It lasts longer than Sora's adventure. If people question combat experience, then I remind you that there are already several ways to simulate enemies from illusions to data, as well as dedicated arenas. Kairi should be at least as strong as Sora since his reset, only lacking in the shear amount of combat experience he has.
I'm not sure Riku should have an arc. Its not necessary for even protagonists to change and develop, and I honestly don't see room for Riku to grow without regression.
Unfortunately DDD-KH3 Sora is practically a different character compared to KH1-2. Square has a tendency to make their naive and/or uneducated characters just complete idiots in future games (Example: Vaan), and the Sora of the previous games was uneducated, but far from unintelligent. I'd say they need more of a return to form rather than development when it comes to this aspect of Sora's. One thing I do think they should add though is Sora becoming a bit of a photographer like Prompto, as a nod to the tendency for players to take pictures even during battle.
Honestly, I feel like they should really have wrapped up Sora's journey in 3. His story had its end point, but now that he's made to continue on it seems endless, which brings into question why a player should continue alongside him if there's no satisfying resolution even in a glimmer beyond the horizon. Sora will escape the world of fiction in a side game, learn of the MoM and Foretellers as well as their plot, and probably a "new" threat that existed before MoM (already alluded to in Unchained) in another side game, and defeat MoM preferably without another side game. Then, the major threat for KH5 will be revealed at the end of KH4, maybe with MoM still around to cause trouble, and so it continues.
In hindsight, I'd say they should have done things more along the lines of games ljke Nier, Devil May Cry, and Final Fantasy Sequels. KH2 should've been Roxas' story (combining it with CoM and Days), with Sora being a side or even tertiary character. Then BBS should actually be KH3 and would take place well beyond both of their stories. It would be set in the far future, rather than beginning the cycle of constantly redeveloping the past to create conflicts for the present.
I wonder in the next game, Kairi will kiss Sora
