@Max Wylde But what some people do not understand is that these catchphrases "BLM" or even people such as Kaepernick were reference points for movements that have grown larger than the point of reference itself. People are saying "Black Lives Matter", that could give a damn about the "leadership" of the movements. When they say the mantra, it's about highlighting police brutality, not about political agenda. There are like 3 different groups that say "Black Lives Matter", the communist group that you spoke of do NOT represent the larger mass that are against injustice. Kaepernick's "cause" outgrew him, he may very well have been a guy looking to draw publicity but at this point.....he is the modern day Muhammad Ali. For better or worse.
@Max Wylde Now you're stating that every case of police brutality that African Americans experience they've brought upon themselves. The vast majority of African Americans are law abiding citizens who are vocalizing about the racism we're experiencing and your response is that we bring it upon ourselves? If I'm a law abiding citizen who is constantly dealing with racism, be it by police or others, and you're telling me that I deserve it then the message you're sending is that our existence is the problem. Ideologies like yours are going to escalate this situation into a global conflict mark my words
@Max Wylde i never said that they have a "right to riot", but I can understand the sentiment. The "peaceful way" has been tried. What did the "peaceful way" buy Colin initially? He was fired. Called an SOB by the President of the United States, many others did not have such a platform to express their discontent with instances of police brutality and if they had they would have no doubt suffered the same fate. What happened with George Floyd was basically the straw that broke the camels back. People (Black American in general) are EXHAUSTED with the "peaceful protest" approach. It has been done, and in 2020 it is not respected. It took riots and looting for people to finally ASK QUESTIONS of their fellow American's that happen to be Black, "Have you ever experienced any instances of etc...." This is what every group have done, including the Gays (ask New York). Instead of being defensive we should ALL just have a conversation. "Black Lives Matter" isn't about the group/organization, it is about the suggestion that if INDEED ALL LIVES MATTER, how can they if BLACK LIVES...don't?
Civil dialogue is what makes progress possible. Letting each other reason and explain their perspectives is the only way to truly understand why people have the opinions they hold, and it’s a great thing!

Ever notice how these same BLM people never mention the group that actually dies the most from these CONFRONTATIONS with the PoPo. Them or the MSM. You Ever notice that....
Indeed. The left wing and right wing politicians have surely painted the picture that they're very tyrannical. The highest percentage of the three groups, are us Independents. The BLM group, Muhammad Ali Jr, thankfully said his father would have hated for the racism and hatred generally pushed by that group. The fact that all ethnicities that exist today (....including Caucasians), have been slaves. Blacks first sold Blacks. Many have this misconception that Abraham Lincoln ended slavery, but he officially didn't. He was racist, but anti slave. But he wagered that notion of slavery to most (not all) southern states in a country that had slaves on the top and bottom of it, with about 1% of southerners owning slaves. White slaves were even cheaper. Most people then and now never even owned a slave, but there's still slavery in the world. I don't like Trump, obviously, but he publicly denounced the public support of the KKK and of that Duke dude. Ron Paul, like other politicians today (Biden, etc) have former appearances with KKK, but it doesn't mean that you appear with someone that you support them. There's a famous Black American befriending KKK members and breaking them away from the Klan. Hate brings in more hate. Ron Paul has sought to fight the drug war and end it. The drug war mostly impacts minorities. It's a failed and rigged drug war, strengthening very dangerous legal drugs and removing personal responsibility from people. He's wanted to end the Federal Reserve like JFK was about to do but then got shot for it (that's been debunked, that official story, but relating experts). Christianity is what really led slavery, of course by what the Bible says. Thankfully all religions have been debunked and thankfully material atheism has been debunked. The Federal Reserve isn't federal, it's privatised. The dollar has dropped by 98%. Almost all wars have been illegal (preemptive). We have mass suicide and issues with vets and so forth. Thankfully they're getting treated more and more with MDMA, the best PTSD killer it's said by drug experts. Big pharma hijacked actual medicine. Big alcohol and big tobacco run the show and are anti alternatives. Nicotine is no more dangerous, nor anymore addicting than caffeine on its own, according to major studies. It has medical benefits like that of caffeine. More people focus on past memories instead of the present and future, which will heal the brain, as said by greats like neuroscientist and natural healer and very qualified Dr. Joe Dispenza, the most famous Indian guru today, Sadhguru, etc. We see more realising this. Going Vegan destroys world hunger, it destroys systematic animal torture and murder, it destroys major health issues (since almost all health issues are diet, mind, and exercise related, hardly anything by genes), it takes care of the main reason for drug addiction, it creates more jobs, it destroys the main cause for planetary destruction and massive animal extinction, etc. There's so many things to go over. But all Democrats of 2016 were former Republican. Even Bernie is tied to racism this year by a former legally silenced Black girl that campaigned on his team and his ties to Hillary, moving to Vermont, etc. Taxes are theft and are unconstitutional. They downgrade society and it was lied about that they'd never surpass 3% either (which any taxes are illegal). Around 80 million (about half of Americans) don't vote and that could win us third party for the first time. Or what about how hypocritical it is to see someone of such privilege essentially throw a tantrum and play on the media’s dispositions to promote BS to make more millions? Shouldn’t that alone upset people?
Colin Kaepernick changed from sitting to kneeling because he spoke with a veteran and they suggested it and he wanted to be respectful. He is speaking from his own experience that he feels he is not being treated with the respect and freedom others have under the American Flag. He has said this. With all of Ben's "facts" did he fail to recall the veteran that explained Colin's motives himself.
Ben acknowledges that at about the 11 minute 40 second mark. They also played the video of kaepernick talking about talking to boyer at the 10 minute mark.
False. He kneeled for personal profit and attention. He has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for what he said he kneeled for. Where has he been through all the craziness over the past two years? He's a crook.
And then he talked to a veteran and changed his position. I don't see how this is a problem? He literally changed his protest to be more respectful when it was brought up how it was disrespectful.
I guess the one single verteran he spoke to rules over all of us huh? So fucking what Nate Boyer said kneeling is better than sitting. Obviously he is correct in that. The fact Colin felt so little respect for the Country that he was just sitting his ass down is really all you need to know. But it STILL is goddamn disrespectful to do it in the knee single moment before the games that honor our freedom as a nation. Not to mention you CANNOT take away all the ridiculous statements Kaspernick has made now over the years and clothing choices he’s made when in front of the cameras. He’s a fucking instigator. Period. I also find it hilarious that never once did the man have an Afro until he started kneeling. Hahaha he always had cornrows, braids, whatever. As soon as becomes an activist, he starts teasing his hair out into a massive Afro in order to appear more ethnic. It’s obvious.
Jarthen Greenmeadow how does that disprove his point? ANYBODY with long enough hair can have it “corn rowed”. Not many white folks can pick their hair out into a globose “Afro”. That hairstyle is synonymous with the civil rights movement, and afrocentric culture. He’s not a hero. He’s not a leader. The only reason we know his name is because of his “activism”.

I’m a Shapiro fan but he really mischaracterized what happened when Kaepernick started to kneel. He had already been kneeling before anybody was named starter... then Kaepernick got the starting job back by week 6 that year..
It was pretty much known going into the preseason he was going to lose his starting job, he stunk up the field the prior year and they we're splitting first team reps in training camp. Then he got injured, ending the competition, then he started to protest the anthem
Fair enough. It’s just unfair to slap a “he was about to lose his job so he did something big” Label on it. He still had an above average QBR and he never even got signed for a backup gig when he was better than the large majority of backups.
Kap burned some bridges. Ray Lewis got him a meeting with the Ravens and then Kap's gf tweets out the Django photoshop. Kap also stayed away from media. There was a lot of talk through "sources." All sports media was dealing in rumors. Kap wants to be a starter, wants 20 million guaranteed. No one seemed to know the truth because Kap never addressed it himself in public. At least not that I remember. Stephen A. was always talking about Kap had an open invite on his show. Was Kap good enough to be on a roster as a backup, probably. Was he willing to take a significant paycut from what he was making, was he willing to take that backup role; I have no idea.

You know it's absolutely fucking amazing that Ben Shapiro Mr "Facts over feelings" after 4 years, is using his feelings instead of facts about the whole Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the national anthem.
No, he’s being factual about Kaepernicks intent with the knee, and how the facts don’t support his argument
How is he not being factual. BLM is a political movement, every iconic black that’s not Republican taking a knee is symbolizing allegance to BLM not to America.
@@PWNINSWAGMASTER That's not the same as saying "F U America". BLM and America are not mutually exclusive. I'd say that BLM is a part of America.
How is he not being factual? He's stretching one old statement over the whole "kneeing activism" as if nothing has changed since then. Basically ignoring the development and even the statements put out just a few days later. It's sorta like taking the roots of some word and ignoring how the usage might've changed up until now.

Ben for sure has to know that. It just doesn't fit his narrative
His problem with kaep has nothing to do with the kneeling. His problem with the movement is he does not think there is a problem.
It’s never a problem until it is to you. I don’t have a problem with any cobras unless a mf cobra bites my ass.
@ Yea there definitely is.

Right, then a military friend told him to kneel because giving a knee is a sign of respect!
If people are ready to protest, even hypocritically riot, during an unneeded, lockdown, with this officially overrated virus, then they should hit the streets for real change. Just because racism at the govt level was made “illegal” then that meant the past 300 years of patterns and institutions set up to oppress black folk magically disappeared and were replaced with happy, egalitarian patterns and institutions.
Imagine being that naive.

@@maxwelljacobfreedom That's a bit of an idiotic response... which he?
The one thing I never quite understood about this entire situation was, what should have Capernick done?! If kneeling wasn’t acceptable, what form of protest is acceptable?! I personally think that it wouldn’t have mattered what Capernick did, people like Ben Shapiro would have had a problem with it! Shapiro sat there bringing up 💩 so far removed from the actual situation it’s ridiculous!
u do realize ppl normally protest about the pd at pd stations and not at an "nfl" stadium about the pd during their employers paid employment during their NFL (not pd related)JOB.. ive yet to see an alleged "activist". go to their job to allegedly take a stand about something that happened elsewhere NOT pertaining to his job or company lol
@@yosemityslam3670 Your comment leads me to think that you aren’t from this country because, protests are rarely held in front of police stations in America! Now that’s not to say that there aren’t protest held in front of police stations because they are however, the majority are not! The NFL isn’t your average 9 to 5 job, it’s a sport played for entertainment! Capernick used his platform to protest injustice against blacks in the US. In fact, he got permission before doing so! So my question to you is, what’s your issue?? Capernick took a knee. He didn’t become belligerent spewing hatred, he didn’t become violent, he was simply exercising his 1st amendment rights. He did absolutely nothing illegal or immoral so what’s the issue?!
if youre actually from this country u comprehend the United states flag of america is NOT the PD flag of america. kaeperdick is just making up cheap excuses and CHANGING excuses to STEAL airtime for his bi polar tantrums. hes NEVER gotten along with nfl teams or owners or ppl.. hes a phony lunatic bankinggggggggg on his PRETEND color(black).. hes MORE white than black PRETENDING to be 100% black
@@jessicawilkerson6294 The issue was mostly lack of awareness on his part. Americans are wildly irrational when it comes to the flag or the anthem nobody cared what he was protesting they just flipped out over the act. It was absolutely his right but he was a starting NFL QB he has microphones in his face whenever he wants to say something. He could have talked about the problem to much greater effect.

One day Americans are going to face a real threat and we’re going crumble bc the current fighting age generation half to 2/3rds are a bunch of cowards communist sympathizers. Mark my words a fight with China is coming all their waiting on is a weak US President China’s military is ready to go they totally modernized and have longer range anti ship missiles more capable than US aircraft carriers and destroyers defense capability and China military is 3 times the size of the US military. @@conspiracytheory9525 You definitely are white. You have no idea the difference from being black in America whether it's getting passed up for a promotion you are overqualified for or 2x as long jail sentence. @@brandonp5019 To not answer your question wrong or flippantly, could you be more specific. Your question, to me, has a sentiment a kin to, "whats up?". I read your asking more from a space of where am I coming from as a concept of how could I find my conclusion about Shapiro. Generally speaking I find my understanding of racism and disintegration to be beliefs only separated by there resolve. This is to say racism and disintegration are both methods to create divide, dissolution, and fragmentation that feed a dehumanization of the "other". My experience is these are ones that believe something like, "all things good where created by this group, and all the bad things where created by the 'other' group".
Kap has the right to kneel because this is America, ben has the right to say he hates him for doing it because this is America, this comment section has the right to be a dumpsterfire because this is amer... because this is UA-cam. But the fact that everyone involved is allowed to talk like this is an amazing thing that should never be taken for granted.
Kap has every right to kneel on his own time. Kap wasn't on his own time though. He was on the job for a company he choose to work for. The NFL has the right to tell him he can't kneel. Just like Kap has the right to leave if he doesn't like it.
When you are on company time and private property your freedoms are limited.

@@davidm7585 That's what the company decided to do. Like I said before, whether you agree or not, that's how it works. I don't know the reason why.
@@davidm7585 An example is if you worked for a company. They asked everyone to come up front for a team meeting. Then you decide to say I live in a free country I'm not doing it. That company has every right to fire you. Just like the NFL would have a right to discipline Kap for making a political statement while on the NFL's time.

Retired Army Green Beret Nate Boyer is the man who first convinced Colin Kaepernick to kneel during the national anthem.

@@hubbalc It doesn't matter how you feel about it. He went out and got the advice from a vet about how to not be disrespectful and therefore thats why hes kneeling and not just sitting or walking out.
Habeebah Kolleff you’re right, it doesn’t matter what I think. But what about the half of the country that sees it another way? Or what about how hypocritical it is to see someone of such privilege essentially throw a tantrum and play on the media’s dispositions to promote BS to make more millions? Shouldn’t that alone upset people?
@@hubbalc why would a man peacefully protesting bother you?
He has arthritis in that knee and doctors told him to stretch before the big game.
Did you see the Netflix special 🤣

He didn't really expose holes, he played a weak devil's advocate.
Riley Martin what did he lie about?
He didn’t really expose anything except his own stupidity
Show me where those holes are
He can't.
the first time the protest started, Kaepernick just sat on the bench during the anthem
@@allstopblue5717 Yea because cornrows are so not ethnic....

He didn't win it back. It was given to him because Gabbert was stinking up the place to the point that they didn't have much else to lose.
I watch a TON of football lol
Holy crap. A reasonable debate with no shit talking between the speakers, minimal interruptions, finding common ground, and just showing respect to each other? I didn't know that was even possible
