My wife’s uncles Daikin system was installed more than 30 years ago back in Shanghai China still running today
I just had a Daikin unit installed with a matching Goodman air handler and evap coil (TXV). financed over 15 years. Unless the good Lord lets me live to be 103, I won't know. I do have confidence in the installing co. Morrow Mechanical of Spring, Texas; they have a great technical and office team; I highly recommend them!
Well I have to say. We installed a Daikin original version was just called VRV first generation back in 2009 34 condensers 59 air handlers and branch boxes. Until this day no compressor changes no leaks running year round only source of heat. And cool. The answer is install it correctly. Will run forever.
We love to hear it!
12 years later our 16 kws just died the inverter panel is fried.
I bet you’ve changed the invertor compressor
100 percent
Compressor failures are not common.
The only thing that commonly fail on these is the actual inverter board (the variable frequency drive in other words). Even that can last easily for 15 years. Daikin uses the highest quality of parts among all the brands i work with. Daikin, fujitsu general, hitachi and Mitsubishi are the top. Using all top quality capacitors & parts. Followed by panasonic , lg , samsung , voltas , carrier , midea , the next low tier is york , goodman , godrej , hair , cruise & other generic chinese & indian brands.
The list is strictly about inverter air conditioning units , not regular fixed capacity units from the 80s.
@@KuntalGhosh thats 100% false. The oil pipe tends to block up and requires replacement, it usually gets missed. ... Ive changed 100s of the invertor compressors. Its a known item to go on vrv 3
@@theoutspokenengineer Probably were installed incorrectly? My guess!
