Are you aware that Deutsche Welle (DW) is a very one-sided state broadcaster, which has repeatedly attracted attention in recent years due to the anti-Semitism of its employees?
Manila is a vibrant and has an exciting night life, much more to offer and explore, Thank you for taking us along in your virtual tours Ave and Martin power couple❤
This video made me missed Manila. Thank you DW for once more choosing Marve this time to showcase Manila’s night life. Proud of my country. I enjoyed watching. Hoping to see more of Marve in your channel.👏👍
This is amazing!! Martin and Ave always doing such an amazing job showing things we don't have the chance to see often. I learn a lot through their eyes about other cultures! I'm so happy to see them here showing the life style of a city and a country I've never been too! I'm always following their journeys since they are the best travel vloggers out there! ❤❤❤
Wow, This is awesome! I've never been to the Philipines and I love how much they like to party. Those places look very inviting. I would consider some of them if I visit the Philipines one day 💕

BGC will be a global, trendy hot spot in the next 10 years. Especially considering the Philippines will be probably #2 tourist destination in the world behind Thailand. BGC will be the perfect base to work and party during the week before the tourists go island hopping on the weekends.
@@ItsJust_Ivan Yeah but Thailand has better infrastructure, more business, better shopping, better food, temples, condos, cleanliness etc. It's #1 for a reason, everyone loves it there. Manila has tons of sex districts too, Makati has a red light district for example. Philippines has arguably the best natural landscapes of any country in the world but the infrastructure, cleanliness etc is still developing. Maybe in 50 years it will be good, but it's still at the very early stages. BGC is a good start. If all of Manila was like BGC, then that's a big positive change.
@@kayflip2233very true. What Philippines lack is a tourist friendly infrastructure for easy mobility. We may have better beach, almost everyone speaks english, but we are trailing interms of infrastructure. And Thailand has got cheaper hotels too. Your 100$ could get you a 5 star hotel in BKK, in MNL you need at least 200$ probably. But yeah we are getting there. We have a lot of catching up to do to maximize our potential as a global tourist destination.
honestly this is an eye opener for me when it comes to manila. i always say, if your coming to PH, stay out of manila. I may have changed my mind now about our capital city
Manila has a lot of hip places. Clubs, bars, bespoke bars, rooftop bars, dayclub pool bars etc... Eastwood Libis, Makati, Malate, BGC, Ortigas, Okada, SM by the Bay and so much more.
@@laryangel4082 Brings back my memories of Embassy, The Fort, Dolce, Guillys, Basement Eastwood, Decades Timog & Metrowalk, F1 and so much more. Hip-Hop Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Terror Squad, Nelly, DMX, XZbit, MIMS, TPain music playing
Im heading of to Manila and the Philippines in February for an amazing adventure in South East Asia. It will be interesting to see how different Filipinos and Filipinas are to Thais and Vietemese people and culture. Atleast their English is very good so won't be hard to get around unlike in Vietnam! Bring on the beauty of the Philippines and the amazing curvy Filipina ladies! Cheers DW Travel for giving me an early teaser for Manila!
Wow I never realized how bougie the Manila party scene is now! Way back 1990s we used to hangout in Malate, like in The Library or Penguin Cafe, or maybe in Jupiter, Makati. Poblacion seem to be as seedy as before. I miss Manila night life.
@@tadrod2323 actually metro manila was 13m+ including the manila city population itself, cause your claim in 30m+ was pretty questionable and inaccurate.
Thank you for your video ,I lived in Makati for 2 years Burgos st makati is a horrible street the bars are full of old Western men , prostitution and the streets ladyboys. Go to BGC AREA if you must stay in Manila , nice mucic spots and some clubs, then go discover some island and get out of horrible Manila...
Actually that's the only part of the video that had decent priced regular bars to go to (Poblacion) and no I don't meet the red light bars which I don't go to. The Poblacion bar scene is normal prices and normal locals (and some tourists). The other places they went like the speakeasy places and the BGC nightclubs are over priced and I find them pretentious and not much fun.
There's no place like home my beloved country Philippines🥰, Pasay City is the place where I stayed as a kid and Makati City is the place wherein I studied and worked for quite a long time. Moreover, I've worked for a financial company inside the building of RCBC Financial Center BGC then after a few years I moved to South Korea and working in a korean bank.

Is this a good or bad development in your opinion?
Definitely better than thailand. Thailand is known for their sex district we don’t have that here.

Well it depends where in Metro Manila. BGC, Makati, MOA are some of the affluent nightlife to experience.
bro they spent like 40k pesos in 1 night. That's 2 month salary for a minimum wage earner.
Going to Phillipines this november. Everything about it has me sold. Can't wait!
Wow Martin you enjoy staying in Manila and you adopt our culture the especially the food 🥰🥰
So proud of Ave and Martin! Very humble and lowkey! Of course in Manila we party hard plus the prices are very affordable! Alak pa more
Can't wait to get to the Philippines to party!

Thanks Ave & Martin for taking us around the Metro . Of all the places you have toured us my most favorite is the ihawan. I like adidas and isaw

I'm fun of DW youtube news and now you both featured at dw travel👍✌😍🤩👏👏👏🤝
Quite ironic, a street named after a priest, P. Burgos St. (Padre Burgos) contains bars and is somewhat a red-light district.
Injoy
Wow! 😮😮😮
Luvvit Luvvit luvit!
Best city
manila is so expensive. The difference between an upperclass and middle class is insanely huge. 5000$ to 300$ per month difference
Love to see people having a great time. Please wear heels ladies, makes u look beautiful. But flip flops at clubs is criminal. lol
Enjoy and blessings
I went to the philipines 3 times and I mever knew about those hiden places thank you for shating very interesting...filipino the best people ever!!

What the name of the club there with people dancing? Looks happy place there
