Doesn't seem fast (not sure if you were fully flooring it or not!), but it sounds decent for a turbo 4 and the power delivery seems linear. And the transmission seems to have swift, solid shifts. Probably satisfying for the vehicle it is and its intended purpose. I think it's a beautiful SUV in and out. Enjoy!
my super sophisticated timing gear (iphone stopwatch) clocked about 9 seconds ... not great but im sure seat of the pants feels quicker with all that torque

What a disappointing performance from this previously amazing vehicle. Toyota, did you have a warehouse full of unused 4 cylinders and thought this would be a good vehicle for it?
