The bride looks better in your version compared to another version I saw. So hopefully it looks even better in person. I’m glad to have the beating heart bride back in one form or another.
I pulled up your video because I saw the news report on the updates that the bride was changed and they wanted the beating heart and somberness of the original scene. I like the effect of the new bride, but I would have done a little more with the attic. Shes just kind of standing there. The reason why the original bride was so scary when I was a kid was because it basically had no face. The face was dark and they eyes glew. It was unsettling. Then the update from that was when she had the knife or hatchet. Then, I do recall the knife or hatchet would appear and disappear and words would have been spoken of "I do". I think with this current one, if that is a holographic projection, I would have made it appear as if there is a broken window behind her and the breeze is blowing strands of her hair. From there, I would have added something in the ride that allows the guests to feel the "breeze". I would have also added the sound of crying, and then the bride herself should be a little more animated, possibly whiping her tears. Sure, that idea doesn't have the knife or hatchet that the bride character has kind of been known for in the haunted mansion books and comics, but I think with just a few more tweaks, they could have just a little something a tad bit more unsettling and somber. Anyways, thanks for the video. I would love to know how in the world you got good low-light footage! :)
I think the new bride looks great! It's a nice attn to detail that the husbands fully disappear from the portraits instead of just their heads... and even though we'll always know her as Constance Hatchaway, that's just a catchy play on words and having the method of death NOT be beheadings, doesn't really change the spookiness of a ghost bride int he attic who has many husbands who died under mysterious circumstances.
Yea that really makes me made, isn’t the same without him, bring him back Disney, but other than that it’s still a great ride, the bride looks better in my opinion the projection didn’t really work on her
I feel like the new change is more about the tragedy of all her lost loves and her constant pursuit of a happily ever after. Whereas Constance before was murdering her husbands, this bride wants to be married. So I don’t think she would have an axe
Damn, I'm not gonna be there in time to see this new Constance because I'll be coming back in November, that's when the Holiday version returns. Oh well...
I was just here Friday and the ride was closed unfortunately. My magic key expires this week so kinda sad I didn't get to ride it after the refurbishment.
Is the ride virtual queue or standby? The wait time is not showing up for me on the Disneyland app. I’m visiting the park next week so I was just wondering so I can be prepared.
I hate the mirrored hitchhiking ghosts. Unfortunately theres no depth to them if you look in the other mirrors, and the bottoms are cutoff to where theres a visable end to them. I could be okay with the rest of the changes...but not the hitchhikers
I don't like it. Constance Hatchiway made more sense. Every time the axe appeared in her hands, the hatbox ghosts head would disappear and appear in the hatbox symbolizing that she had cut his head off. Along with the other suitors that she was with in the portraits scattered around the attic scene
That's because they understand what a deadline is. Always over estimate. And show up early 🙌🤙 If this was in the Philippines,it would have NEVER gotten finished. Never higher people that want a job, but don't want to work. Hail to the bottom line.
One, Disney has been doing this transformation every year since 2001, so they know how to do it efficiently. Second, it’s really just a matter of switching out the sets and some animatronics, all of which is in storage whenever the overlay isn’t present.

I was hoping the same thing but I just went the other day and in my opinion I prefer Constance Hatchaway
Welcome back Haunted Mansion!! Can’t wait to see the new bride when I go probably last week of April 2025!!
After more than a year of not being here, it’s finally back!
That new Ghost Bride looks immaculate! I also love how the heartbeat goes with the rhythm of the piano. I think I like her more than the Hatbox Ghost.
I am glad OG haunted mansion is back

Anyone else notice the specter in the mausoleum being replaced by a candle?
Yes, it looks like the candelabra from the endless hallway made its way outside to the graveyard.
At end of video someone commented he was gone
Yea that really makes me made, isn’t the same without him, bring him back Disney, but other than that it’s still a great ride, the bride looks better in my opinion the projection didn’t really work on her
I will be on Disneyland, February
I love the new bride she is probably hiding her axe some where in the attic and also I like the ghost projects in the graveyard

Awesome video! What camera and lens are you using?
Gonna be there for a sweetheart's night in early February, can't wait to check it out.
よりミステリアスで美しくホラーな感じに仕上がってますね
Her motionless face is giving AI, the candles flame effect are insane tho
RIP Crypt ghost, replaced by a candelabra
At least they kept the hanging corpse and didn't ruin it with their crappy CGI "effects."

Did they change the music track slightly for the stretching portrait room and the start? Or am I wrong
Nope the same!!
They did. The scream is shorter

Standby. You can see wait time if you click on lightning lane for another ride to get to the tip board
@@TamanthaTaintawoman sweet! thanks for the help!

Better than Constance but not as good as an actual animatronic.
It's hard for me to believe that this took the Imagineers 2 weeks to transform Haunted Mansion from Haunted Mansion Holiday.

i miss her lines
If i miss..
Really isnt that exciting lol, Disney is so lazy
Why do people always find ways to egg on this?
There’s barley any changes and the ride was made in 1969
I love this
CGI trash. One more epic Disney fail.
This is a ride cgi isn’t needed doofus
