I am using the Militarized Minutemen Mod in combination with a mod that replaces the Laser Musket with the Lee Enfield MIV. I'm assuming it's because it's the less ambiguous faction that actually has an honorable mission without treading on others to succeed. I always play different factions in fallout 4 replays and always end up destroying the institute and helping the minutemen, even after I tell myself that I'll try a different ending lol
In my minutemen playthrough there are two branches the minutemen congressional army or MCA they are a militarized group that use combat rifles and Lazer rifles. Then the Minutemen settlement defense corp or MSDC they use a colonial style outfit and use whatever weapons they come across from pipes weapons to lazer rifles. Both groups are have incredible strength and numbers the MSDC are incredibly brave because they are volunteers that protect the settlement while the MCA are incredibly tatical smart and strong both groups are difficult to fight and because of this it's one reason they could realistically hold there own against the brotherhood but in my game they are so strong because brotherhood gave them there gear due to a alliance made by the general and elder Maxon. The treaty states that the Minutemen would trade food and water for military supplies so the could take down the institute
I have an idea for a mod for the minutemen It’s called “To Arms!” In it you are tasked with getting better weapons and armor for the Minutemen but you can’t simply buy them because most merchants say they can’t fill their order except for Cricket who’s ordered not to do business with but they you can get them weapons is after you ask any of the gun dealers they point you to a Gunner’s secret Armory and after killing them and using the radio to call the rest of the Minutemen to move the weapons to the Castle you complete the quest and Minutemen patrols start wearing light combat armor with the Minutemen symbol on it and using Combat Rifles and Shotguns
heads up "we are the minutemen" has been being fully kept updated(the guy below me's post pointed that out but i wanted ppl to know as of july 2019 its up to date)
Wow the useful crank makes so much sense! There's no other reason to need it and it's such a pain. This would explain so much and actually give a reason to use it

The only thing I don’t like about the mod is some of the outfits. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think there is an outfit with a green shirt and blue pants. I just don’t like it. I mean why green?
Oh and it also bothers me when I see a minuteman with an incomplete set of armor. Like when I see one with armor on their right arm but not on their left.
@@faithlesspancake4800 yeah some people think the green suits the minutemen better but even tho greens like my all time favourite colour I know blue just suits them better
Yea I never understood why the laser musket needed ammo for, Fusion cells are batteries that power the laser rifles, the Laser Musket is Jerry rigged to be hand powered by a crank, YOU are the power source
I just got militarized Minutemen. It's really good! Im using it in combination with modern firearms, deadlier mutants/raiders/gunners...with ballistic weave my character can get a good set of lightweight protection. I could never say no to Preston.

Actually... looks like W.A.t.M was just updated on the 2nd! Was reading the Nexus page for Militarized and it mentioned a com patch, following the link took me to the W.A.t.M page and I saw it was updated.
Liberty reborn in the mods menu is my favorite. Instead of pipe rifles they get plasma snipers and lore friendly armors. It comes with MINUTEMEN VERTIBERDS, and organized military uniforms. Guards are craftable in the workshop and a minuteman workbench is available to build to craft uniforms (not armors). Armor paint schemes are only available on combat armors by finding them on Gunners and raiders or adding them in the armor workbench
Far West Minuteman is my fav if you want a more lore friendly compared to Mil minuteman. It was updated jan 2018 and you need a new save or minute man will be naked with no weapons.
I personally would like to see the Minuteman overhaul updated and maybe even merged with Militarized Minutemen !! that would be great. I still use the M/O mod to this day
Do people dislike the laser musket? I actually really like it, but I only ever used it as a sniper rifle. The ability to have multiple rounds in one shot made it really useful for sneak attacks, and if you stay at a distance the crank reload isn't a issue (at least no more then the reload on any long range rifle.) Its also one of the few unique and interesting wepons fallout 4 added to the game.
Useful crank actually seems realistic in a video game perspective because why does it need cells when you literally crank it to power it up, that makes no sense.
Useful Crank, heh, I mainly got it to have something similar to that laser pistols that recharged use without ammo need, I wish only there was a pistol version, I'm glad there's a rifle version now but still.
I just downloaded militarized minutemen for my minutemen based save. My question is does this mod add the new uniforms to all minutemen, give the minutemen better gear and increase their patrols/numbers? I honestly have no patience to go around customizing each minuteman at every settlement I have. Thanks for any replies!
Thank you for posting this. I got a pc in Jan, and still learning. Been modding since then, and I've been using broken mods!? Thanks for the info! I fixed my mod order and it didn't break my save either!
I have no problem with WATM, but I agree with your suggestions here for sure (Militarized MM and Fallout Commander is a great combo). - I have not checked, but most probably some gear changes in WATM and Militarized MM may conflicts (does not break the game, but one mod will prevail over the other). Trick is to place the preferred mod near the *end* of your list (or only use one of the two). Or for the more geeky, use FO4EDIT to view any conflicts and decide which options/mods you want to prevail.
The potential of the Minutemen, the idea, of building up your own forces, CREATING your own faction basically, through hard work. It should be a lot more hands on and involved than other factions, but if you put the work in, it becomes on of, if not the strongest faction. It is the traditional 'good', and would be the best option if you out the work in, in this scenario.
A fully upgraded laser musket is fairly decent, and combining one with the "Quick Hands" perk vastly helps the reload time, but if you ever happen to find a Legendary "Two-Shot" Laser Musket, you will then possess the finger of death and one of the most devastating guns in the game, deleting most enemies with one hit after reaching maximum perk levels. I found one of these early in the game during my second playthrough, and it almost made everything too easy.
the flare gun only works if you have a settlement in the area it was a game feature that is supposed to make it viable to build settlements around the Commonwealth that way when you when you fire the flare gun Minutemen will come from the closest settlement to your location so the flare gun only works if you build settlements around the commonwealth. There's a good mod called settlements anywhere or something that but the mod allows you to build settlements anywhere in the commonwealth that's a good mod for a Minutemen playthrough seeing as the Preston wants you go out and rebuild the Minutemen
hear me out somebody make a mod where like the minutemen can become the very thing they swear to destroy, a militarized dictatorship organization, this is after the institute is gone and (maybe the BOS) and they take any equipment left to become more powerful, combine this with some propaganda and Minutemen Vertibirds and you can have a full on empire heck there could even be a mod that retextures the colors to like a black and white or Dark Blue and something for the flags and outfits to give a more feared look
i use useful crank because there was a charged weapon in new Vegas, but i used the crank weapon alot as a sniper because of just how massive of an initial sneak burst it could give to kill off mostly anything in the base game, but as a skirmish weapon never cared for it
A mod I think would fit this is a mod that makes the minuteman general have a brown cloth look to were it looks more like a well made scraped together general uniform. I don’t remember the name but I think it works because with the military minuteman blue. Regular tan vanilla minuteman clothes and so it would make since in my opinion for a different color style for your uniform.
3 words, Enclave Remnants Armor. Seriously, the stuffs got 500+ BDT 200DT on everything else and the Tesla armor is nearly doubled. If you recruit settlements and gain Settlers, you can suit them up with no material cost, and the minutemen come equipped with high tech energy weapons. I’m on a modded play through and have 200+ soldiers(not including settlers) all with reg. or Tesla armor, a few equipped with final judgement randomly.
Hmm interesring. The militarization of minute-men almost looks like a Call of Duty segment where they are advancing from the beach to bunkers. Especially with all of them.in their appropriate attire in a line basically shooting enimies which is pretty cool.
i usually make the minutemen into the NCR as i prefer them over a weak militia somehow becoming powerful enough to take down the brotherhood and institute
Prefer Far West Minutemen to Militarized Minutemen. I like the rusty aesthetic they have compared to something like the NCR or Brotherhood. They were always a militia, albeit a POWERFUL one, they weren't however the huge military power you seem to think of them like the NCR was where they had modern armor and were manufacturing weapons etc.
The only problem I have with militarized minutemen is that it appears to make them like a fully militarize Force when the minutemen are militia they have ranks but they're not really paid to be minutemen. I'm sure sure some would be paid as like people who are only minutemen and they order around anyone who's currently fighting or organized other minutemen groups but everyone else is basically just a citizen who comes to help fight. Like I can see them using powerful armor and weapons as you can find those things out in the Commonwealth so why can't normal citizens I can even see them using power. But the uniforms just seems too much like a paid military that are constantly fighting. The minutemen are militia they see your flair they get a call and they strapped on their armor grab a gun and run.
Bethesda really needs to update the whole radiant quest. Like when I feel like when u reach certain point of happiness or defense u shldnt get the quest anymore to keep defending them
I really like militarized minutemen, but i really only want the troopers, none of the rest of the ranks, just like, 2 or 3 helmets, 3 or 4 outfits with like, a few extras or something
I was personally upset that an actual musket wasnt IN game. Or a form of long rifle you could customize with revolver receivers. Its obvious where you get it, the museum of freedom! Why couldnt that be a thing? What if they made it SUPER customizable too? Like ammo type included? That would have been a cool minuteman weapon. A signature weapon that the player could take with them and improve along the way. That would have been cool
I feel like the only one who doesn’t really care for militarized minutemen, I really like the militia look. I prefer it because it is what the minutemen truly is to me. The minutemen is a not super organized band of brothers to me, not a militarized faction. But that’s just me.
Through mods my minutemen are more advanced then the institute, more powerful then the brotherhood, more subtle then the railroad and neater then covenant and more common then raiders.
Also try "you and what army" which increases the number of minutemen patrol the more settlement you own.
You and What Army + Militarized Minutemen is probably my favorite combo (plus modern weapon replacers!)

And I’m over here creating 50+ Automatic service rifles, PMC uniforms and gas masks😤
*PRESTON - CLUB*
⚠️Preston Garvey Impersonaters only⚠️
;)
There’s another settlement that needs your help. I’ll mark it on your map.
I've gotten word that another settlement needs our help. I'll mark it on your map.
At least it’s not raining
Maybe people will start to see what's it's about.
hear me out somebody make a mod where like the minutemen can become the very thing they swear to destroy, a militarized dictatorship organization, this is after the institute is gone and (maybe the BOS) and they take any equipment left to become more powerful, combine this with some propaganda and Minutemen Vertibirds and you can have a full on empire heck there could even be a mod that retextures the colors to like a black and white or Dark Blue and something for the flags and outfits to give a more feared look
I've heard about The Enclave (I think that's the name) which is a big Mod that creates that sort of storyline, though it's not the Minutemen.
i use useful crank because there was a charged weapon in new Vegas, but i used the crank weapon alot as a sniper because of just how massive of an initial sneak burst it could give to kill off mostly anything in the base game, but as a skirmish weapon never cared for it
I use Militarized Minutemen, FCOM and We Are The Minutemen since they all have compatibility patches so that they don't cause any troubles
We are the minutemen, modern firearms replacer, militarized minutemen is really fun!
So did we are the minutemen get fixed
Also thanks to you i downloaded the militarized minute men as soon as it came out
DO GUNNERS NEXT
oh wait they’re already perfect
Jk but do them next plz
Red The Normal Artist I wish gunners were a possible evil faction to join...
There is a Gunner overhaul mod. Unfortunately, it conflicts with some of the Brotherhood ones.
Clean Water kinda of r if u have alternative start mod which I have a chose a gunner to play as
Clean Water same
A mod I think would fit this is a mod that makes the minuteman general have a brown cloth look to were it looks more like a well made scraped together general uniform. I don’t remember the name but I think it works because with the military minuteman blue. Regular tan vanilla minuteman clothes and so it would make since in my opinion for a different color style for your uniform.
This vid is proof that juice is indeed rayman
But it goes without saying I really appreciate your work. Your videos are the best!
I think you made some solid picks. God's truth, the Minutemen were boring. A cool backstory but felt like it went nowhere.
We are the minutemen combined with Fcom is amazing.
Thank you for supporting Xbox I know I might sound fanboyesh but I like how support both platforms
Ruben vb No ps4 though
@@deedye5361 I would like that everyone would support consoles but sony doesn't like mod I don't know why but yeah
the usefull crank mod is extremely op with the automatic laser rifle i got from sturges so yea
i mean laser musket
i usually make the minutemen into the NCR as i prefer them over a weak militia somehow becoming powerful enough to take down the brotherhood and institute
Useful crank is the way I always thought the musket should have been
Useful crank + automatic laser musket
Even without mods the Minutemen are already pretty OP as long as you're on their team
I found the floating 'ghost hand' distracting. LOL
Like when I feel like when u reach certain point of happiness or defense u shldnt get the quest anymore to keep defending them
This is a good MinuteMen Mod list to download. I like it! :))))
Laser musket has a crack thing buccause the crank thing takes the energy from fushion cells and puts it into the weapon like reloading
To be honest i thought the Laser Musket was supposed to be infinite in Ammo, as a side weapon or something
Floating hand be like "sup" at 0:58
His voice sounds like he is nervous sometimes when he is talking about the mod.
I use Liberty Reborn, Militarized Minutemen, and a couple of others.
With the useful crank mod i could be UNSTOPPABLE!
But can we improve fallout 76 to single player
...improve?
Yeah, it's called wait for fallout 5 and stop shitting on a new idea just because you don't like it.
@Wolf Slater Agreed, like you can even play it alone too ,idk why everyone is so negative towards 76 its literally what we've been waiting for
We won't have mods day one. Odds are we won't see any until dedicated servers are introduced.
LeeT.V.
What _you've_ been waiting for. I, and many others just wanted another New Vegas.
They used to look like Todd Howard's chessclub buddy's.
hello!
the mod author for WATM updated his mod just this year! would you now recommend it as part of minutemen improvement or still buggy?
I feel like the only one who doesn’t really care for militarized minutemen, I really like the militia look. I prefer it because it is what the minutemen truly is to me. The minutemen is a not super organized band of brothers to me, not a militarized faction. But that’s just me.
Ya know minutemen watchtower is also in PS4
There is an un-official militerized minutemen add-on that adds more patches a mad dump pouch a water canteen
Great video, Juice. Request, could we have a video on the N.W Raiders? Thanks!
Btw you need the militarized minute men compatible with FCOM as far as I know
Just downloaded we are the minutemen and militarized minutemen, and they are awesome. No more guys with pipe guns and simple clothes
Through mods my minutemen are more advanced then the institute, more powerful then the brotherhood, more subtle then the railroad and neater then covenant and more common then raiders.
Haha, now I can overhaul the Minutemen, Railroad, Brotherhood of Steel and the Institute and watch them fight it out.
The laser musket is the sexiest weapon imo
