That was a great story, it's like a side-story for Derpy and prequel to canterlot wedding roll into one and it was well written. And I just love the happy ending and the ending song is very fitting for it. Which makes downloading this worth it. I just loved Derpy. X3
those pictures of Derpy at the end actually brought a tear to my eye :')

Everypony loves the Muffin Mailpony Mare: no matter if she is a Pony, Human, or Changeling.
Honestly at the part where the statue crushed Malpighi and Derpy answered the call for Chrysalis pretending to be Malpighi it reminded me of Mulan where Mushu pretended to be the dragon that the spirits had originally planned to send to Mulan after the dragons statue broke lol
I certainly do enjoy this particular story.
Although there is the one Problem, it endxced far too early
Placing Derpy as a Changeling did make for some amusem,ent, and explaining how she became the Åony we know did make for a delicious treat.

Can you imagine if she saw Diamond Tiara first? That would actually make perfect sense given the report she gave to Chrysi.
Sadly, Diamond fits both the physical attributes (pink and tiara cutie mark) and characteristics of a spoiled pony princess, complete with crown.

I didn't see her in any flashbacks. Rainbow knows her, sure, but as we've seen in Hurricane Fluttershy she seems to know all of the pegasi in town. It is part of her job. Am I missing something?
