Originating from Sweden, Frida Mariama Touray is a London based singer/songwriter. Working as a professional session vocalist she has been lending her vocals to various different projects. One of which includes the Mobo nominated band Personal Life.
Her own band, Native Dancer, released their debut studio album on their own record label, Psychological Banana Records. They were also lucky enough to have opened for Lianne La Havas at EARTH in Hackney and NAO at Somerset House.
Besides writing songs for Native Dancer, Frida has co-written songs on both Lianne La Havas’ album and Jordan Rakei’s album Origin. The single “Signs” was also re-released in 2020, featuring legendary Chicago rapper Common.
The deeply personal debut EP from Swedish & London-based singer-songwriter Frida Touray shows herself at her most vulnerable, capturing the essence of who she is and how she sees the world.
