Photographing wild birds at my local nature reserve

In this video I visit Brereton Heath Nature reserve. Brereton is my local reserve and even though I have filmed quite a few videos here I always find something new. It also give me the opportunity to visit at different times in the year to make the most of the weather and the seasons. Today I went to photograph the birds, but I have done macro photography, mushroom photography, mist and ICM at Brereton. I got a particularly lovely sighting that I have put at the end of the video..

Waht your Austrian follower told you is really true, for us in south Germany too. Compared to English Nature ours is very poor. German protection of nature follows the rule: Nobody is admitted. In England people are invited to come to nature reserves an watch from hides. We really envy you.

That is a shame. As long as the public are respectful then they should be allowed to see it. The revenue generated also helps to fund it.
