Elvir Selimi its Original Engine? You owned the car since 0km? My m550d-s engine failed at 152tkm The previous owner had engine rebuilt ,,, Yes Oil change must be done every 8-10tkm !! Rod bearing failure .... my car consumes engine oil 1 litre every 6-8tkm...
@@bmwsincekid 1L every 6-8tsd km isn't that bad honestly. Especially older Gasoline bmws eat up to 1L every 1000km. Normally stock this engine should last around 300tsd km if everything goes alright.
@@bmwsincekid hmm that's weird. I know the turbos go bad often. One of my friends bought a 750XD and put a used Engine Block in it. Very Fast Car now. The First owner drove that car till its destruction with one Turbo feeding oil till run away.
Diesels dont rev as high as their gas counterparts because the cylinders travel a longer distance when going up and down so it would rip it self apart if it was gas-like revs
Wrong all of you, it has 3 turboes ffs you dont need to change early. The small turbo spools fast at low rpm’s to provide low end torque at low rpm’s, then the second turbo which is bigger spools and joins the party. And finally there’s the third one which is a high pressure variable geometry turbo that comes in. No need to change gear early with this engine setup, it’s not a 530D.
@@tonygiovanni7598 still this engine (as most diesels) is build to be most efficient at lower RPM, it can hold power but the engine is happier shifting at ~4300RPM
Yes Thats better Then in Manual!! Nice achievement how many miles the car has? Im afraid to get my tuned these engines really sensitive ...
Why you think is sensitive?

Im planning to tune it next week

Early shifts?
Nah, the diesel has less torque at 4K and above.
Diesels dont rev as high as their gas counterparts because the cylinders travel a longer distance when going up and down so it would rip it self apart if it was gas-like revs
It won't accelerate faster if revved higher. With bigger turbo(s) maybe
