How To Launch a Weather Balloon (BTS)

- For our engineering yearlong project, my friends and I were able to get a grant to send a weather balloon the edge of space. In honor of SpaceX's launch of a Tesla Roadster with Starman, we decided to launch our own Tesla Roadster (Hot Wheels Car) with parachute man. This video goes in-depth into the making and launching of our project, in an attempt to help others doing similar projects.

That was a great video! Next time, if you can, budget a second balloon so that you can immediately apply what you learn (well, at least after the payload is recovered so you don't duplicate those costs). I would love to see a second attempt with essentially the same goals. When my students design their dissertations, they have to anticipate anything that might prevent the collection of their data (in the context they intend). Of course, at that point, the consequences are more expensive in many ways. I'm glad you are still committed to UA-cam content creation. I hope you pursue this for a long time to come. Cheers.
