Great review! Love this vacuum, saw it was discounted to $300 dollars on Amazon during Black Friday and jumped on it immediately. Been enjoying vaccuming everyday and not worrying about the bin on the vacuum filling up and needing to empty daily. The Green LED has been a game changer, you can really see all the dust particles on the floor!
Yes! That is exactly how we feel about it... green led is great and the convenience of not having to manually empty is amazing. Self empty is a non negotiable now imo!
Awesome review especially the specs part, super useful! Have you tried Dyson V12 Detect Slim Fluffy? In terms of suction power and how it works with mattresses & upholstery how would you compare them?
Great review, thank you! I owned the original Tineco One Station a while ago for a few days. Absolutely LOVED the self emptying but found its suction power really lacking for my use so returned it. How do you find this compares in terms of suction power compared to the original One Station? I really miss the self emptying with my current Levoit vac but would be hesitant to try this unless it's more powerful than the original one station. Thanks!
Personally I won't go back to a non self empty as my daily vacuum even if it has less suction power lol Here is our data on both vacuums: Pure One Station: 1482 FPM 32.6 CFM 95% Carpet Deep Clean Score 18KPA Station 5: 1831 FPM 40.3 CFM 95% Carpet Deep Clean Score 29KPA So on paper it would be more powerful from our data and testing. Real world it scored the same in our carpet deep cleaning test. Maybe worth a shot to try it and return if not happy with the performance in your home?
@VacuumChef Thank you, this is really helpful. I'm very keen to get back to self emptying for my daily run around for sure! Sounds like it's more powerful too so I might give it til January to see if there's any new year sale and maybe pick one up. As you say can always return it if it's not right for me.
The station auto empties so that is the "cleaning" that it does! The brush itself has some teeth to help detangle while the brush roller is moving but that would be all that we know about and it won't fully remove tangled hair in our experience!
Great question! I use the Pure One Station daily, so here are the key differences: The Pure One Station automatically empties the vacuum as soon as it’s docked, which is super convenient-you don’t have to press a button like you do with the Station 5. However, the Pure One has an integrated battery, and when ours failed, we had to replace the entire unit, even though it was likely just a battery issue. In contrast, the Station 5 has a removable battery, making replacements much easier. The Pure One also has a better display on its vacuum head compared to the Station 5, which could be a nice touch depending on your preferences. Both vacuums are excellent, especially with the game-changing convenience of self-emptying. For most people, I’d recommend saving money and going with the Station 5 unless the specific features I mentioned-like the Pure One’s display or its fur attachment for pet owners-are important to you. If you see yourself using the fur attachment often, that’s another factor to consider! Here is our full Pure One Station Review if interested in watching: ua-cam.com/video/LM5KpCrQkcg/v-deo.html
impossible to tell what mode you're in. In addition the instruction manual says nothing about how to operate it. I want to love it.....but it's a mystery as to how to operate the modes, and what the lights mean? frustrating.
Thats what I said! I do love this vacuum but not having an auto mode and the terrible selector (idk why they couldn't color code it or something) means pressing the button and keenly listen to the suction changes lol

Is cfm measured at the base, tube, or head?
Great question! At the base unit and in then if you ever see any in use measurements from us it is at the head/brush roller!

I have not tried that Dyson yet. We hope to buy a bunch of those models in 2025 to cover!

Absolutely! I always recommend buy and try (assuming free returns) as you have nothing to lose and a new vacuum to gain!
I heard the station clean the brush as well. Does it actually clean it properly and would it remove tangled hair?

@@VacuumChef Thanks for answering! I don't know if you have the info, but what is the suction power on the vacuum? I can't find the number anywhere.
175W suction power!
@@VacuumChefSorry I meant for the pure one station. Not the station 5. I should have specified.
How does this compare with Tineco pure station one? Is the previous version better in your opinion?

How does the suction compare to dyson, samsung and shark?
Great question! Very similar. We hope to break down this data more in 2025 and do more comparisons!
