- The Bihar government on Monday came out with the results of its caste-based survey, which has triggered controversy. The survey report, released by Bihar's Chief Secretary, shows that Other Backward Castes form 63 per cent of the state's population.

16 percent not exactly. If there is someone who is ews among them then reservation . It is not for all which is not the case with those 63 percent people. Tbh if you are not satisfied with this reservation neither are we then just remove this reservation

Done.....in OBC and MOBC they should gv details of creamy and non creamy layer.....creamy layer should be included under General.... because the census was done to do equal distributio' of the resources...... earlier the stratification was based on caste and after 76 yers the scenario is completely changed......so apart from caste also economical status should be included.

I think you don't have clear picture of reservation system in India..
Let me clarify you..
Lets take an example.. A government organization has 100 seats and examination conducted to get to the organization is of 100 marks..Now lets break down to each category..
General - 50 seats (cuttoff marks-80)
Obc-25 seats( cuttoff marks-70)
Sc-15 seats(cuttoff marks-55)
St-10 seats( cuttoff-50)
1- the fact you are talking abt extra 40% for general category doesn't work like that…
Now in that 50 seat considered as general all students whether they are obc or St or Sc will get jobs..that means it is an open category... For example if A student A gets a Rank -1 ( marks -85) .... And he/she belongs to St category... Then the student will get job as general student..and seat in St category will remain intact to (10).
If 2nd rank student belongs to obc category then also he will get job as a general student and obc quota seat will remain intact (25)
This will continue uptil 50 students….Now in that 50 students if there are 30 already reserved students so be it…they are now general.. So Only 20 actual General category student got the job..
After 50... The reservation starts…now in these seats only reserved are allowed.... Actual general are not allowed... Obc will be considered for obc and SC for sc and so on..
One more thing a general student can't be selected even if he gets 79 marks..coz cuttof is till 80.. but other caste students can be selected uptil there respective cutoff..like uptil 70 for obc and 55 for Sc and 50 for sc..
Note- these things doesn't stop here..In govt college admission if there are 20 seat reserved for ST category.... There are only 15 students who are qualified or eligible under ST category and 5 seats are vacant.... Then they will not consider general category student even though he has 79,78,77 etc or so on….that seat will Remain vacant... For the whole academic year and General category will have to go some other low ranking college..or prepare again..

This is the reality of so called digital and near five trillion economy India . More than 60% people of a state are backward only 16% of population in Bihar is in general category .. 63% of total national wealth of India is in the hands of top 10% of population of India . 37% total national is in the hands of 90%,of population .
Why caste and sects of Christianity and Islam is not included in this ? We need to bring socially deprived in their religion too it’s govt responsibility not only Hindus .. do caste senses in Christian’s and Muslims and bring division and development everywhere and not only among Hindus.
