Manila, Philippines ➖ Ever since I started solo travelling in 2019, the Philippines has been at the top of the list of places I wanted to visit. I'm so stoked to finally be here after years of waiting and hearing so many amazing things about this place. I am staying here in Binondo, also known as Chinatown, and it's absolutely awesome here. So, I decided to check out a local market known as Divisoria to get a real taste of what it's like here in Manila. The traffic is crazy, there are tons of markets, and the people are some of the nicest I've met, it is indeed, "more fun in the Philippines!".

im a filipino and some locals really take advantage especially to foreigners like the one selling bulls jersey. actually you can buy one piece for that but she really insisted for two. also the tricycle driver is overprice. they dont even understand english that much. better visit with a guide that will help you communicate in your journey here in philippines. in manila especially divisoria many scammer will take advantage if you dont know the way of living in the place. try visit cebu or davao (visayas & mindanao) locals there are more friendly and trustworthy

Yes, I noticed that too. Pinoy din ako eh. Ang mahal ng singil ng tricycle. Dapat mga 20 lang yan hahahaha... Anyway, they can also visit northern Luzon far from manila. I like Mindanao especially and visayas

nakakatawa talaga yung, what's your name? sabi nung driver, divisoria mall hahahaa tiyaka ang laki ng singil kuya ah 150 tapos 7-10 mins lang ata ang layo, sa Davao 10pesos lang yan but yeah I agree people in Manila really do take advantage sometimes especially if the person is a foreigner, better visit Davao City and Visayas people there are more honest compared to Manila

Not just in the Philippines...it happens every where in the world. Where I am now there are lot of scammers who are after not just the money in your pocket but more so in your bank. Luke has been in lot of countries, I am so sure he knows what or whom he's dealing with. He is benevolent but sharp in mind.
