Unhappy with standard patterns, I love your creative approach and your explanations of how to modify a pattern. As always great content and….I love your farm ❤
Beautiful! I love the lace 😍 It seems crazy to keep purchasing more and more patterns in pursuit of the perfect combination of neckline, sleeve length, zip/button placement, collar shape, degree of flare of skirt or width of trouser leg... Once you've been sewing for a few years and have achieved a certain level of confidence and competence, you can tweak any of those details to create a bespoke garment that ticks all your boxes 😊
Cute dress! So glad you shared how to change things from an existing pattern into a more suitable one for your lifestyle. Loved this format. Thank you.
What a cute dress. I'm not a particularly big fan of lace, but it's adorable on this project. I hope you, Marie, don't get a lot of flack from it. People need to remember the old live and let live adage ❤thanks for another great video. I enjoyed it very much.
I’m always impressed by your creativity and self confidence to change things to be what you prefer in your sewing projects. That sleeve Tetris was awe inspiring. Thanks for sharing your latest lovely work.
I love it and I want one😊 This is such a great idea, cause we all have patterns by the dozens and we did like something about it. So I'm gonna try something like this. Thanks Marie for sharing and inspiring ud❤❤❤
You had me wondering at first ....but I stayed with you and girl you blew me away. You are so talented and such a great teacher. it is very pretty.👗.When I noticed you were bare foot it made me smile,,,,something honest about a bare foot Lady.
The lace is a nice, unexpected feminine touch on a masculine fabric! And the Little tea died Pearl buttons are the perfect frosting on the cake. The fit is great and the garment looks very comfortable, yet still stylish. I suffer from Dolly Parton syndrome, ("where MORE is MORE")😂 and I would have added more lace to the neckline as well, but maybe with that scratchy lace next to the skin, perhaps you made the right decision to leave the neckline unadorned. Overall, a great project! Speaking of overalls, that fabric (plus lace and more buttons) would really make a really cute pair of overalls! I can always count on you to put an "extra-special spin" on all your projects!
I liked your concept. Im sure im not the only one that has loads of patterns we buy and then dont make! Why not alter to what you will make. I liked your plaid. The only part i must have missed was if you had SA on top edges after you cut off top pieces. Oh well its done. Hope you get good wear out of it.💓
Thanks! Well, since the original piece had a seam allowance included, when I cut it down by a certain number of inches, that was also factoring in the original seam allowance still being there... that sounds more confusing than it is.
It’s CUTE! Love the lace! Those chickens are hilarious in the background! Nothing like some henhouse drama! Thanks for sharing!
I love EVERYTHING about your dress and the more kinds of lace, the better!😉. Your tea-dying was brilliant, as well.

Looks amazing Marie. Glad you were able to bring the sleeves in a wee bit . Prefer how that looks now - not all pouffe. Thanks for sharing 🙋🏼🏴

That is really cute! I love it.

Very cute dress! I love flannel but never thought to wear it in the summer! Why not? It's cotton!!! Love the tea stained lace! Very pretty!

The dress is so cute and comfy looking. And weather it’s sewing or sewing machines your ability to explain is amazing 😊

My fav so far! Love the plaid - I made a robe from the same material, and totally customized a shirt pattern to make it.
I love it and I want one😊

Fantastic dress and I do so love Midna. Great job on this project Marie!
Great job , after you’ve been sewing, you learn to tweak patterns to your liking! I always did that with my daughter’s dresses!

Thanks for sticking it out. I love being barefoot in the grass :)

Sometimes I have to struggle to keep from putting too much lace on myself :)
Fantastic video. The dress looks great with the lace on it. The way you manipulate the pattern pieces is really good.
You look great, the lace is beautiful, thank you!
Looks very cute Marie and the lace/plaid combo is key!
❤turned out really cute. I like the lace. I learned a lot with this one. Thank you Marie!❤️
Funny! I hope Noone would be looking at your underarms lol 😆 Love watching your channel. I'm learning soo much from you!
My cat thinks the sewing table is his private domain - can't sew without his supervision .

I don't like pointed collars either😊
❤️
The dress doesn’t fit the pattern model in a very flattering way. 🤨
