Monster Energy: SCORE International Baja 500 2018

Monster Energy Slam Life Racing (SLR) Honda showed up at the 50th annual running of the fabled SCORE Baja 500 in a concerted effort to prove triumphant in the Pro Moto Unlimited field. When the race was green flagged, team riders Justin Morgan, Mark Samuels, and Justin Jones and their wickedly fast and durable Honda CRF450 were among the dust eating field of 321 entries trying to navigate the boulder-size rocks, cactus, blinding sun and opulent Pacific Ocean coastline in an effort to get to the finish line first. The 2018 course was looked upon as gnarliest in the 500’s history, and at 542 miles, the longest in five decades of racing south of the border. After all was said and done and joining the SLR power trio as class winners was Monster Energy’s ULTRA4 wheelman Casey Currie.
