Every year racers and fans converge in the middle of the Johnson Valley for a week-long celebration of off-roading during the biggest/toughest race in North America... The King of The Hammers!

I wish i was born into a AWESOME sport like this. Not being mean in any way. I think its so cool the shannon family is racing together... my daughter and my wife and i all ride atvs. Ive got a well built 88 bronco and were about to start building my daughters 78 bronco.

I feel like I would run a solid axle as opposed to independent, for the rock crawling and technical sections. It wouldn’t be as good in the desert, but I think it would be worth it.

Kinda. The biggest difference is the KOTH has legitimate, hardcore rock climbing. Which Baja doesn't have. KOTH will go from 100+ mph sections to 1-2mph sections. While Baja is basically one super long offroad sprint.
