I love that he's so self-aware and humble.
To me success of Maneskin is about all 4 members, their chemistry and how each of them bring their taste and view. I’m not sure Damiano alone will have such great success. Maneskin is something unique in nowadays industry. We already have a lot of lyrical male singers that get lost in the ocean of solo artists.
That's so true! They stand out because of their uniqueness.. and of course their great talent. Just Damiano by himself won't be the same...
I agree with you, but I think it doesn’t have to be from a commercial success pov. If Damiano wants to express himself solo, I think the reward would be having expressed himself, not how much money that album makes. Ofc success kind of dictates whether they’re able to keep doing what they’re doing professionally, but I think it wouldn’t hurt to try out solo projects once they’ve established themselves. Even if they flop.
@@jamesfurfaro4950 of course they will do whatever they want. My personal opinion is just mine, it may also change. That’s just how I feel and think at the moment. Nevertheless I will keep watching their path with great interest.

However, just like real friendships and family bonds, relationships become even more wonderful when each person has grown independently and reunites🔥

I look up to Damiano as he is genuine as well as an accomplished singer. Indeed, inspite of his youth, it seems as if he's sung on stage for decades. In every live performance he gives a dazzling display of his talent, which is unusual for a 24-year-old singer.
Thr guitarist is absolutely incredible many styles and different sounds doing it all by himself and also rocking hard while playing perfectly its unbelievable
It will be interesting and indeed he will be able to develop even more, but many who have done so, and for those who have been successful on solo career, they haven't returned to their bands, this is what scares the most. But I wish Damiano only the best

I love Damiano and Måneskin. He is such a bright and intelligent young man. He is the perfect front man. Great looks great voice charismatic commands the stage. But he would, and will never have the success that he is experiencing now, solo. I saw them recently at Madison Square Garden and it’s amazing the sound that the three others create live. Especially young Thomas the guitar player. I believe he will go down in history, as being one of the great ones. Being compared to Eddie Van Halen. Example. Mick Jagger would never ever have the success that he has had if it was not for Keith Richards. Jim Morrison as iconic as he was, would never have the success if it wasn’t for the other three members of the band especially Robbie and Ray. This is a great band, a once in a generation band. I have not been this excited about rock music since I first heard Pearl Jam. If he wants to do side projects with other people, I think that’s great but this band needs to stay together for a long long time.

Instinctively I would say that it is better not to do it, when something is interrupted that something changes irreversibly and almost never for the better. But I know it will happen, their strength lies in the forced amalgamation of different tastes, but it is inevitable that at a certain point they will all perceive it as a too narrow cage.

I'm not sure about this.. Damiano talking about doing a solo project..🤔 It gives me the feeling that he's outgrown the band.. He wants to do something entirely different.. Victoria also did a collaboration with Duran Duran.. Maybe it's good to go forward, but I do hope it will not break up the band.. They can do solo projects outside of the band.. Lots of artists do so. We'll just have to see how things will go...

The truth to be said. The first time I saw him I felt his personality is to go solo.
In Italy we have a historic group, Pooh, together until the death of their drummer, then they said they would disband and after a year they thought better of it and they will probably all die on stage. Well, they did it: at a certain point in their career they separated for the time to each make a solo album, then they reunited and carried on as before, but probably more relaxed. So I would be fine if Måneskin did it too, not to be successful as soloists, but to be able to express everything that they have to compromise inside.
I would immediately buy Thomas' and Ethan's albums (I want to understand what they really think).
Ogni singolo artista ha il proprio logo su come comporre le proprie canzoni e sente di appartenere a quel fattore musicale. La musica ti dà i suoni. I testi sono la passione per il canto e il suonare gli strumenti.

😂 очарование? Они пишут сочиняют и исполняют музыку - самое главное что у них есть. Монескин это группа которую основала Виктория и Томас. Дамиано даже не первый вокалист. Это они взяли его к себе а не наоборот. Поэтому он и хочет соло проект. Если бы он на 70% держал группу зачем ему бы понадобилась соло карьера 😂😂😂
He shines wayyy brighter when he has the other 3 next to him. Surprised how he somehow lost all that appeal sitting there by himself.
Like in his recent red carpets with his new girlfriend... it feels rare without the other three.

I’m not even sure how much PR show is behind this relationship. He wouldn’t be the first Italian celebrity who gets pushed into this by his management. I don‘t have a feeling that he‘s really happy…as if something bothers him.

Haha the solo attempt is written in the history of all rock bands and in the ego of the most ambitious members, they all try but not all succeed and some of them return with their heads down. It will happen to them after the next album. I accept bets. 😂

Sono educato, ti rispondo quindi per educazione, se diventasse un solista troverei irrispettoso il gesto verso la band che ha contribuito a renderlo famoso, cosa che ha sottolineato anche lui , così come lo penserei e pensato di altri. Non penso lo farà, cmq la mia opinione non gli cambierà di certo la vita, stai serena carissima ragazza simpatica ed educata 🤟
I would love a Damiano only album, the whole band is amazing and works like a perfect clock, but Damiano himself seems fascinating and would be great to know him better as an artist without the constrains of Måneskin style. It's scary 'cos I think of Hutchence or Weiland going solo, great experiment but maybe not as great result, but then we have Chris Cornell, so yeah big risk but also can be really amazing. Time will tell. I wish him and the band the very best.

Or maybe Damiano knows something we do not? Maybe he is making a large part of the work and that is why he would be so confident about a solo career? Even if it would be true, I cant imagine without the other 3 members, together are bomb.
Actually he specifically said he's not confident about being on his own, that he's actually rather scared of it. Which is why he'd want to do a solo project for a year or so, just to push himself.
@@liliaeth maybe this is only a "façade" answer. What would he say to the world? That he doesnt like to work together anymore with his friends? No, he wouldnt say that from respect for them. A better answer would be that he want to push himself. I really hope this is the truth.

Damiano concordo contigo! Mas tu sabes exactamente o que deves e podes fazer sempre em empatia e concordancia com o grupo. Gostei imenso da entrevista principalmente pela resposta, em que só demonstras que tens bom senso comum e um ser humano bastante maduro para a tua idade! Aliás penso que todo o grupo está bem conectado, assim sendo não entendo poque não? A Vic já o fez com os Duran Duran. Qual é o problema para que todos fiquem descontentes? Bravo Maneskin pela boa energia através da música, aguardo ansiosamente por vocês no SuperRock SuperBock Portugal!
Damiano è un'artista poliedrico che sentirà spesso il bisogno di esprimersi in modo diverso.
Fin'ora , assieme agli altri Maneskin,si è espresso come ogni ragazzo giovane sogna di potersi esprimere,
Ma lui non è solo rabbia giovanile, maturerà, avrà mille esperienze, sensazioni, emozioni, idee da esternare ed esprimere e probabilmente farlo solo attraverso i Maneskin gli va stretto.
