Another brilliant vlog both, you are both absolutely hilarious. The fact you were not on the boat this week made no difference, your personalities and humour made it just as brilliant and entertaining as it is,when you are on the canal. This says a lot about you and what makes your videos so brilliant . Don’t ever change . It’s pure magic. It must have been a tough week for you, closing the business , but it creates and opens a new chapter for you both . Be sure to enjoy every minute of it. Well done . Poor Ernie, however he looks like he is making a great recovery with all the love and attention he gets from you both. Your vlogs so creative , professional, and are full of personality, something a lot of vlogs lack on you tube. You are definitely setting new standards with your very unique, quirky yet natural vlogging style. Others could learn a lot from the standards you set. Narrowboating vlogs don’t get any better . 🏴🏴🏴👍😁
Thanks Valerie, he's recovered fully now and back to his funny little self 🐾 Yes emotional times but like you said exciting times just around the corner for us x
*Awwww Ernie, the little op was in your best interest... now wait for all the men to go WHAT!!!. Paul, closing down your business is a sad day indeed... but you have continued your skills on your boat. Wait for the other barge owners to realise your talent.. hehehe. Liz, I too also call them KICKBOARDS here in NZ. Never heard them called anything else. Nice piece of furniture to go on board to sit back and enjoy the scenery with a nice drink or two. Good to see the new batteries on board and working well. BUT being smaller there is that gap... so block them to stop any movements. Also look forward to hear how the solar charger works. Have a awesome week... and see you all next week.*
Hi Andrea, hope you've had a fab week. Yes as much as closing down the business was emotional for Paul, on the 9therhand it's exciting as it means we are getting closer to being on the boat full time and we really can not wait. I'm glad you call them kickbacks too 😉 Thanks for pointing out about the battery gap I hadn't noticed that so will be getting Paul to check and secure them. 😀
@Adie foster yes we plan to be full time, continuous cruisers. House is going on market end of week and we hope to be out on the cut this summer. Fingers crossed 🤞
@@uponreflection the bit where you asked if we'd spotted the deliberate mistake... the screw studs on the batteries rather than the clamps you then put on...
Thanks for watching Jayne, the film/music clips do you mean? Or the animation clips of us, like Paul on the moon etc? It's good to hear feedback as I'm always trying to do new things when editing so it's good to hear your thoughts.
@@uponreflection Yes it is the animation clips. Hope you don't mind me saying. I do really love the rest. Your boat and interior look amazing, you have great taste.
@Jayne of course I don't mind you saying, not at all, it's good to have feedback. I don't think I've done any animation ones in the next one due out next week so hopefully you stick with us 😉
@Jayne I think with this one I was over compensating as we weren't actually at the boat so was hoping the animation may help viewers be entertained rather than jist see us at home but completely see how they can also be annoying 😀
great vlogs, highly entertaining and funny, poor Ernie!🐕 check you shunt connections, all the negatives from all loads and any chargers should go through the shunt. you still had quite a few negatives connected direct to the batteries. the shunt can't see the input and outputs if they are connected to the battery. boat looking good.🛥
Hi Jamie, thanks for watching. We have got an electrician working on our boat soon and he is going to cast his eyes over the battery connections for us as well to make sure all OK. Thanks though, funny enough I screen shot a picture early today about the shunt and meant to show Paul as it looked different to how ours are so thank you for reminding me to show him the picture and pass on your comment to him too 😊

Just done exactly the same , sold of my workshop & nearly all my tools after 35yrs
Have you Adie, it's a strange blend of emotions isn't it when you have to do something like that.
@@uponreflection it is yes , but my knees are shot . love boat life , frees up so much of your life
@@uponreflection will you be full time live aboard eventually ? We are and have never looked back

Love the blog..
Thank you so much for watching 😉
Interesting.... curious as to why you didn't use the screw studs on the batteries? thanks! Rob
Hi Rob, please excuse my ignorance bit what are screw studs?

I really love your vlogs.
But to be honest, not keen on the clips you insert.
