- Hey, so I've collected a whole winters worth of footage from two cameras in upstate NY. They are on the Rensselaer Plateau in the Taconic Mountains. Very similar to the Adirondack flora and fauna in many ways. In this video I have personally been able to identify black bear, white tail deer, red fox, fisher, mink, coyote, raccoon, red squirrel, turkey. I need help to identify possible grey fox and pine marten...
I can watch this all day . Maybe someday you will catch a real surprise .
I love it. Upstate is really more like up here north of Syracuse.
Looks like a gray fox at about 6:50. Shorter legs than a red fox and black stripe down top of tail to the tip. Thank your for sharing our videos.
Holy Fisher activity!!
Oh yeah, they love that stream during the winter!
I love love love these videos!! Thank you!
Really good camera locations. I love that multi-trunked tree in camera 2 and the Marten (?) at the creek is fun to watch, too. Great variety of wildlife and excellent music in the background. Thank you.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed!
Those are two gray fox at the 8:19 mark. I have seen one up close in the woods in The Valley area of Syracuse, NY.
Gorgeous creatures
great trail cam video ....cheers
Great video! Thanks for sharing 💯
Thanks, im glad you enjoyed!
Fantastic footage thanks for sharing
Thank you!
Just read your description that they were Coyote. Thank you for your explicit description. I was thinking of purchasing property up there. Being from Upstate N.Y. and living in West Palm Beach FL since 1989 , living with a Min. Pinscher,I think I'll pause. My Min. Pin. would be bait.LOL. Awesome video none the less. Thank you for sharing.
I live in the southern tier of NY and we had to fence in our two acre lot because of crazy animals. I have two fox dens on the edge of my yard, a fisher cat, mink, tons of deer, rabbits, bears. You name it, we have it. Oh and coyotes, few wolves
Where are those lake you’re fishing for pike ?? I fish Sacandaga a lot and my PB is 44”. Fun fish to catch
Either, Great video!
Love it great fisher shots ! We're upstate are you ?
Is this in the Adirondacks
I thought I saw a wolf.
I saw a fox. But the other seemed bigger
Where about was this in NY? I manage a preserve in Western NY
This is about 30 mins East of Albany.
So the animal at 2:00 is a fisher. 2:40 is a mink, but what is 3:25 and 3:49? Also a fisher, just smaller? I honestly can't tell.. And what do you guys think 3:54 is? Oh yeah and i'm pretty sure 8:17 are grey foxes but idk. Thanks Ya'll!!!
I am going with Pine Martin.. I was thinking ermin but that time of year it would be white.
How about the bear?
Love the snowy scene and the tiny little brook surrounded by trees! But the guy ruined everything cause he looks pretty scruffy like he hasn't taken a shower in several days! 🦨 😜
That’s a pretty big fisher cat and in upstate n.y,you never hear of them this far south of New England.
Ny borders Quebec
I live in central ny and there around here
They are in southern Connecticut too…
Don’t add musio😢
Was that a Wolf or a Coyote?
Coyote but they carry wolf DNA in NY. the Pair were big.
@@cpogto4199 they actually started releasing wolves in my county. The deer and coyote population has gone to far. So wolves are running’ around now
@@GermanShepherdDaphne What county is that?
@@EthanStone-xi7tvI live in Erie county (Buffalo) to be exact and one night I came across a 5ft black coyote or a wolf . I wouldn’t be surprised if the wolves are migrating to the cities
