  • ► Welcome back guys, today we have the American Airlines Maintenance Facility Tour at Tulsa International Airport from August 19, 2022! American Airlines Global Headquarters Maintenance Facility is hosted at Tulsa International Airport on 330 acres on the northeast side of KTUL. The maintenance facility for the entire American Airlines fleet which includes the families of the Boeing 737, Airbus A320, Boeing 777, and Boeing 787. The facility is home to 5,500 employees, overhauls 900 aircraft annually, is one of Oklahoma's largest private employers, and so much more. When American Airlines relocated its global headquarters to Tulsa post World War II in 1945, the operation brought the region so much economical drive. This video encompasses what the operation is all about as we check out 2 engine overhaul facilities and 3 hangars! During Aviation Day 2022, Tulsa International Airport hosted an aviation day event at the airport, and I was fortunate enough to be invited to the event! This was an UNBELIEVABLE experience, and I can't thank American Airlines and Tulsa International Airport enough for making this possible! I hope you guys enjoy!

Maybe it's just me...The camera spends way too much time aimed at the floor, and the editing could be much better.

It's not just you. It's very frustrating to watch this video.

Man. The cameraman sure like floors & decks. Whole vid's aimed down.

Man. Looking at the structures. Planes are so flimsy & weak compared to everything else. It's little wonder planes just explode when they crash. It is what it is. Dictated by the physics of the situation. No antigravity planes yet. Purview of the space alien's at this point.

Amazing video! I start aviation generals the 24th of this month at the Tulsa tech riverside campus, I’m already extremely excited and this video made me even more thrilled as I dream of being able to work for American Airlines here in Tulsa after I graduate.

Why don't you become a carpet fitter, half your video is the floor.

I’ve always been impressed with AA and their maintenance. I work next door to them at my local airport.

The location question at 23:05. The 787 is in Hanger 6 Bay C. The 777 was in Hanger 6 Bay A

This is an awesome tour mate. Maybe for your next airport update at TUL, feature all the types of planes which you saw at the maintenance facility on that day.

I thot there'd be vid of a machine shop making one off parts more cheaply than they could be purchased from the mfg's.

Connor-I’m happy you go to see what I got to see for 30 years at the Tulsa base! My friend this could be your future home. I seen you were in hanger 1. I retired from 1C as my last home on the 737-800.

All of the scaffolding around the planes looks like a giant Erector set (like I had in the 50's)
