  • This is the first of two parts of me building an infinity machine, focussing on some design aspects. Especially, how i designed my 3D-printed "bearing-less" shaft.

      hi, thanks a lot for the positive feedback! :)
      Note that these gears are actually made from PLA. I plan to do a video on Iglidur gears also. With a setup that spins them faster or needs mor torque to compare durability.
      As far as other exotic stuff is concerned, I sure want to but no specific plan yet

    Is the animation a real physics composed by rigid bodies and collision?

      No, for these few objects I just typed some angle keyframes by hand
