Well Praia is known for some places where you should not walk in the dark. And even in Mindelo, it is not always safe, according some travel websites. But isn't this the case almost everywhere?
@@travelwithdante Hey Dante... I would not use the words "to avoid" There are good people in troubled places too. But visit those places without bank or creditcards or too much cash money. Like you would do on every place on earth that you do not trust. Nevertheless, you will meet the most good people there too!
I might have used the wrong word, of course i have visited dangerous areas either bad reputation and eventually i ended up meeting the nicest and friendliest people, as you said you just gotta be careful with your belongings and take something that will not affect you in case if you lost it.

5:32 u got robbed my guy. U grabbed 2 pieces, one is 10 cent and the other is 20, so u had to pay 30 but she charged u 60 lol, the craziest part is that her friend said 30 cent should be the total and the other girl said “no its 60 cent” Her friend with the pink shirt is a good one but the other lady is a thief. Even though its 30 cent tho, but its not about the money its about taking advantage of people, i hate that!!! Im from CV by the way. Stay safe out there.
I was aware of that as her friend told me different price, that was the reason i didnt left any tips for her. It’s obvious in many countries some people will take advantage of foreigners and some are honest.

Avoid the street vendors from Senegal. They will rip you off. Better go in a store with prices on the items.
I noticed almost all the women wear their natural hair . No wigs 😊❤

A lot of tourist taxes. 32€ to get in the country +2.50€ perday

Halo kawan
Where are all male street vendors? Women here seem to be hard working. Shoutout
The male are fishing
I also noticed that, women are working and the men were asking for money
Im just back last night , i can definatly say all cape verde people are extremely hard workers, the men farm, fish, build.
In Africa, markets are usually ran by women. Its less likely a lazy thing but more so a cultural, gender-role thing
Just like a European to concentrate on the negative when doing a video/documentary on Sub-Saharan Africa !!!!!!!.
Some Capeverdians can be/are very rude to foreigners
Well, that can happen anywhere
