I was there in March and it was one of my favourite walks - much quieter than many other Levadas and the waterfall was great 😀

This is on before our barbie movie night ,love the music and views.Loving the stream along the path sublime and agree peace and quite i love it.The hand railings looks well dodgy lol.This is one hike is what i would love,agree like you expect king kong to come around the corner followed by raptors .so like another world and age,and i can see why you love going there,think you done hike before as i remember the little stream"i could be wrong".Love the tunnel part aka la hobbit suit me lol.The shot with shell and the waterfall was bloody amazing,and love the hobbit tunnel,fit me .yep dodgy railing looks like someone made mistake using the dodgy railings lol.love the indiana jones mini bridge.stunning drone shots and music to go with it.

Ah love that our video went on before movie night ❤. Hope you enjoyed that barbie too! This was our favourite Levada Walk for sure! 😊👌. Not one we had done before, but very similar to some others, Madeira has tons of these gorgeous paths that take you deep into the mountains ⛰️🌄❤. It was so scenic throughout. The sheer cliffs were something else, and the railings were well dodgy in places! Didn't trust them 😂😮. Felt like we were walking in jurassic Park 🦕🦖😊. We were like excited children when we rounded that corner and saw that we could walk behind the waterfall! An amazing day, what life is all about, adventures with my favourite person. Hope you and Phil are enjoying this beautiful Sunday, time for the snazzy shades to come back out 😊😎👌. And really hope that you are back to full health soon. They are much more sure footed than me that's for sure🙈. We loved this walk, it really was so scenic, and we were like excited children when we rounded the corner and saw that we could walk behind the waterfall 🤩🙌. The tunnels were an adventure too. And the glass of wine we were after at the stone picnic bench was enjoyed at the end of the day back at the hotel instead🍷🥂.

Hey both, hope you had a great holiday!!! Now this is looking lovely. We didn’t know about levada’s until we saw your videos. Loving the goats, they’re better rock climbers than us. This is such a beautiful walk, the stone picnic bench is brilliant…not ready yet for lunch? You should always be ready for lunch…well, we are anyway, but that’s why you’re both much fitter than us!! Like the idea of wine and olives though. Ok, so that view around the corner is pretty stunning. I reckon we could even do this walk. That waterfall is beautiful, watch your step though, there was no barrier there. We definitely need to visit Madeira, your videos have really sold it to us. Really like the tunnels and the view the other side is amazing. It’s a bit thin there with no railings, not sure we’re too into that, but the views are worth it. Lovely drone shots as always Pete. We really enjoyed that, looking forward to the next one!! Cheers both x

I just booked 11 nights in Corfu next year as a treat for my 70th birthday, stopping at a hotel in San Stefanos, where we stopped almost 20 years ago and I remember a couple of great walks, which I cannot wait to do again and film. Never been to Madeira before but a great walk and goats on the path....and yes, a glass of white would have gone down very well there next to the river. Amazing waterfall and a on a hot day, how nice as well to cool off, great to get behind it. Looked a bit sketchy after the tunnel until the railings started again but great views and drone footage.
